  • Your doctor will probably refer you for conservative treatment (physical therapy) to see if that works before consulting an ortho. Rest and ice in the meantime.

  • You could see if there are any adaptive sports near you! There are usually physical therapists and other rehab professionals and coaches with lots of experience in this field. Even if you don't want to do a full organized sports program, they'd be the right people to ask.
