  • I've been taking clothes in to be altered. That way, I don't necessarily have to buy new clothes, and when the clothes are tailored, they are so much more flattering to your figure.
  • Thank you :) I always knew ChaLEANN Extreme was different than P90X, but wasn't sure in what way. Very informative and now I'm interested to try. Oh, if I had unlimited money and could buy all the exercise programs, haha.. They just all seem so good and fun!
  • What would you say is the main difference between P90X and ChaLEAN Extreme? From what I understand, they both incorporate lifting days and cardio.
  • I haven't been able to load pictures on here without them being huge, but here are my mid-way (60ish) day results from P90X. http://noworneverp90x.blogspot.com/2011/03/from-january-24th-to-march-5th-lookie.html I recommend it. But know that you won't get results just by doing the workout. The majority of the results are…
  • Oh, and the other reason that I don't follow his nutrition plan is b/c I felt like I needed to buy the shakes and bars to do it, and since I don't live in the U.S, I can't order it where I live. So that's another big reason why I decided to just follow MFP nutrition. I've heard awesome things about Shakeology, I've just…
  • 1) I am not allowed to install a pullup-bar in my rented appartment, BUT there is a childrens playground around the corner...is it possible to maybe run to the playground for the pullup workout? Or are the pullup-exercises always in between the other ones? A. I can't install a pull-up bar either, so I have a bungee that I…
  • Oh, I totally forgot - if you get powdered magnesium that you add to a drink, that works like MAGIC. Just don't add too much to begin with or it will give you diarrhea.
  • Okay, I'm going to be very honest with you. About two years ago my colon was completely blocked to the point where everytime that I ate, my body threw up. I had no idea what was wrong, so I went to a doctor. The doctor told me to get an enema. I went to the drugstore and got Fleet (or you can get the store brand, works…
  • I started P90X COMPLETELY out of shape. I didn't even bother looking at the fitness test. (I also didn't do the lean version, I found for me and what I read that Classic gave better results.. but that's just my personal opinion). I did what I could do and I modified the rest. Now, I'm almost at the end of phase 2 of my…
  • YES! I'm so glad that you started this topic. I hate working out with shoes. I'm doing P90X and I have to use shoes for plyo (lots of jumping around) but I do all the rest of the workouts barefoot. I've found that I work out better when I'm barefoot. I'm sure that's all mental, but hey, whatever works, right?
  • thanks for the link!
  • And, does anybody else blog about their dieting/fitness? It's SO motivational for me to read other peoples struggles and successes on their fitness/weight-loss journeys!
  • Hey I'd love to hop in on this thread. I'm on my third week of P90X and ready to start my recovery/rest week next week. I am going to try and follow the nutrition, more or less (I am prob going to cheat and add more fruits just because since I've given up coffee, I really don't want to give up my morning smoothie).…
  • I am finishing up the first phase of P90X and after next week's "recovery" week I'm going to *attempt* to do doubles - just b/c I would like to speed up the process of toning up and losing weight. It's inspiring to see how many women are a. doing P90X and b. adding runs or zoomba or other cardio activities in addition to…
