:noway: NO WAY! UGH! I hate that... this one time a woman working at a jewellery store took my hand and said "omg! you have such fat fingers! you are never going to get proposed to..." PS: I was 14 and was just in there with my mother... I wasn't even buying anything -_- Well, she can suck it... :grumble:

yay! pictures are working now! (you'd think after a year and a half of posting on MFP I would have figured it out by now -_-)

I have to agree. Sorry, I watched 10 minutes of it and had to turn it off to avoid throwing something at my TV.

Hello! I've been vegetarian for 5 years. Feel free to add me! My diary is open to my friends and I'm always happy to share recipes/tips! :)
-
Thanks everyone! Yes, my fiance had lost a bit of weight naturally when he switched to vegetarianism 2 years ago. We've been together for over 5 years now. I met him when I was heavy, he loved me at my heaviest, and he's loved me every step of my journey :) He never wanted or asked me to change, which made it so easy for…

5 11" and 223. I started out weighing 270. My goal weight is 170 :)

Nature's Aid. Only thing that worked for me. That stuff is miraculous when it comes to anything skin-related.

I took it really slow. Eating vegetarian, healthy foods, but I never restrict myself. If I want something I eat it, just within reason. I find that the three most important things to do in order to see results are 1) drink lots of water, 2) eat breakfast within the first hour of waking up, and 3) eat early in the evening…

Probably boxing. It makes me feel strong and is such a good workout. Always leaves my whole upper body sore the next day and gives you a great arm/ab/cardio workout :)
-
Agreed, you need to eat more. Try slowly increasing your cals to 1200-1500 every day. Also: make sure you're getting plenty of water, eating breakfast within the first hour that you wake up, and try to eat you last meal early in the evening without snacking late at night. Good luck :)

Everyone on here looks amazing! So inspiring! Here's my most current before/during :)
-
Donate them! No money wasted! You'll be helping someone else out and giving yourself a handful of good karma ;)
-
You are amazing! What you did is such an amazing thing! Eating disorders are a huge component of my field of study. What you did takes a lot of strength! Keep it up! :)

Haha! A whole box? Thanks :)

There is a muscle underneath that arm flab! Slowly but surely it is peaking out! I swear! Haha:blushing:

When I didn't fit into the Behemoth ride at Canada's wonderland. The guy told me I was too fat and that the seat wouldn't clamp properly. Going to go ride it for the first time this year though!

dafuq did I just read? lol total crap. This article has misinterpreted information and been completely discredited.

All I can tell you is what worked for me, everyone is different. I was in a seriously bad plateau for the last 3 months. I actually ordered Bob Harper's "The Skinny Rules" (normally I don't advocate diet books, but this one has 20 simple easy-to-follow rules and is based off common sense). I started following a few of the…

bump! I am totally making these!
-
You are hilarious! it's true, dieting makes you do weird things. I order a pitcher of water for myself at restaurants now since I drink a lot of water with dinner and I hate having to keep bugging the waiter to refill my cup. lol
-
This needs to be BUMPED back up to the top! :'D I've come so much further since the last time I read this and I'm recognizing SOO many of these in my own life now that I've lost almost 50lbs :)
-
actually boxing has made a bit of an improvement on my ham-like triceps, lmao
-
buuump!! My arms are like hams!
-
It's hard to say, everyone's body is different. The only advice I can give you is what got me out of my plateau: eating whole foods (more vegetables, cutting out pre-made stuff), drinking more water and not eating in the evening after an early dinner. Bob Harper's "The Skinny Rules" is a great book actually, it has some…

I'm actually starting to like how I look in pictures that other people take of me unexpectedly, TOTAL NSV!

Lol! I already posted an old before/during on this thread, but I just took new one last night, so I'm double-posting ;) love these threads! They are so inspiring! there are some amazing transformations out there :)
