I just bought a digital one tonight. It tells me other things like body fat, and how many calories I should be eating for my goal weight. Who knows if it's any good or not. It also hold the information for 4 people so I added my oldest son and I'll be adding my husband as well. I had been going to GNC to use their scale…

nd, SayLiLIG, you can definitley get results at home. I go to the gym because I'm trying to add muscle and need the bigger weights that I just don't have room for in my house. I see people there every day that are doing things they could easily do in their home. Some of them I've never seen on the "machines". Get some…

I'm a soccer player at heart so I'm usually in soccer shorts and a t-shirt. I think I have about 7 different colored Adidas shorts. We're usually hot down here so I don't have too many workout pants. Plus I'm a mom so throwing on a pair of shorts in the morning is easy for me. Though, I sometimes joke that I dress like a…

Having one at home has it's pros and cons. At home you can get distracted easily. But, you also have the freedom to workout whenever you feel like it. If I had an extra room, or a big garage I'd get some equipment.

You need to do weight training. And, still be mindfull of what you're eating. You want to gain muscle not fat. If gaining this weight is going to cause you to have a heart attack at 45 than you may as well stay thin LOL. P90X is really good, and once you start working out regularly you'll get addicted to it. And, remember…

Most, if not all, restaurant dishes. I always thaught I ordered the healthy things off the menu but I was wrong. The grilled shrimp at Outback really upsets me. And their steamed veggies!?!? I'd get the grilled shrimp appitizer, a side of steamed veggies and a side salad. I'd splurge on the dressing for the salad, and…

OK I understand. I was under the impression that a rest day meant doing no type of workout. I was like, "Oh, Lord, I can't not do anything". Thanks, guys.

I drink it all the time. It's the next thing for me to work on, mostly because I have to be drinking too much of it. It's not natural LOL. Splenda actually makes me feel high, and not in a good way. I've been using something called Truvia in my hot tea at home.

I'm 5'8 and probably about 145 now. I'm looking to gain muscle and will most likely lose some weight in doing so. I'm OK with the weight I am now, or maybe 140, I just need to tone up.
-
I eat it, or almond butter just to mix it up. I put it on toast on the mornings that I know I'll be working out more/harder than usual.

I'm suprised Applebees is even as successful as it is. Or still open for that matter. It's got to be the most processed food at any restaurant. I got chicken once and I'm fairly certain it wasn't even a real chicken breast, but chicken parts used to form a breast.

I watch it now that my dad has been having liver problems, and developed diabetes. His diet has gotten so strict. I've been reading labels for a long time so it's just one more thing for me to look out for. And, I'm a salt person more than a sugar person. You get used to it, though.

I eat when I'm hungry, not really following the MFP "rules" too closely. The days that I exercise I'll be more hungry than the days that I don't. The food diary is a great guideline, though. I use it daily. But, on days where I do my spin class in the morning and my 30 Day Shred DVD at night, MFP would have me eating an…

I've only been to Disney World, but they have a lot of choices. I assume Disney Land would be the same.

I usually have one day where I'm just too tired to do anything. Other than that I do workout, even if it's not as "hard" as I normally would.

Meeting the goal is reward enough for me LOL. I know I'm boring. I guess I could say I reward myself with clothes.

My crock pot is huge so I put the oats in a small metal mixing bowl. Put the bowl into the crock pot, and fill the crock pot with water.

One egg mixed with egg beaters for scrambled. A hard boiled egg. Grapefruit. Whole grain toast with almond butter, or butter. oat groats. fruit with cottage cheese or yogurt. Hot tea. Coffee.

Great job, y'all. Lent is coming up and I plan on giving up Diet Coke. I drink way too much of it. I already started drinking caffeine free just to avoid any possible withdrawls from that. Though, I haven't felt any so far, maybe my body still thinks it's getting it since I'm still drinking diet coke. I'm not looking…

I'm not sure what you mean about high energy, but edamame was the first thing that came to mind. Hummus, Maybe a good Greek salad? Are you feeling bad because you're getting sick? If that's the case maybe do a spinach salad with mandarin oranges, sunflower seeds or chopped peanuts.

30 Day Shred is worth it. They're short workouts but very effective. I'm glad I bought it. You can't really go wrong with Jillian's videos. She's good at motivating and pushing. I don't know about treadmills either. I use one at the gym to cool down after strength training. Look for one that inclines.

I always go over on Protein according to MFP. I pretty much just use the numbers they give me as a guideline anyway. Sometimes I may eat a little more of what they have listed as a serving, or less, and I don't bother to adjust it. I have no idea how many calories I'm actually burning during a workout so that's kind of up…

Oh, I have to try that! I may be able to use up my big tub of chocolate powder after all.
-
I make my own because I don't like the chocolate powder mix that I have. I blend ice, milk, unsweetened coconut, pineapple, and banana and (ground) flax seeds. Sometimes I'll add other fruit as I buy it, but I almost always have those. Greek yogurt is a great source of protein also. Boiled eggs are a staple in my fridge,…

I've done all three levels, but will stick with level 1 until I can do it with no problems. Than move up to level 2 and so on. I may mix it up once or twice just to prevent getting bored. Another one of her DVD's that I tried was her Yoga one. I found it at the library. It's actually really good considering I never took…

I just bought a bag of trail mix with almonds and chocolate pieces, along with a couple of other things. Because of the fat content of the almonds, and yes I know it's "good" fat, I'm much better about not eating a lot of it. I'll pour a little handfull in my hand once or twice a day and I'm good.

I'm not discouraged. That was a question that I really had no idea of the answer to. I knew it took longer to build muscle mass, I just didn't have any knowledge of a feasible time frame. Just another thing for me to research. I do have a little bit of muscle built up from over the years that are starting to show as I lose…

I'm going through it right now too. I hate it because, even I know why I'm more hungry, it still sucks. I just keep reminding myself how nice it feels once it's all over and I feel thinner.

Land O Lakes does have one. I'm sure you'll be fine with a substitution.

The Superman is good too.
