Recs for a Calorie Watch/HRM
I did a lot of internet shopping and found a couple of HRM that also track calories burned. A few had a couple of reviews, all of them mixed between really good or really bad. My price range is under $100. I'm sure the more expensive ones had better reviews, I just didn't search those. Do any of you have any recs? I prefer…

1g-1.5g protein per pound of lean body mass?
I bought the weight lifting bible for women book. The part on protein intake says that a person on a weight lifting diet should be eating 1g-1.5g of protein per every pound of lean body mass that they have. So if my lean body mass is 116, than I should be eating 116g of protein a day? I suppose that's why everyone drinks…

I like yogurt but it puts me in the red for sugar
I know that I can buy the unflavored ones, and I'll probably start doing that. I'm just bummed that whenever I eat even the fat free versions I still have to see the red numbers on my food diary. LOL

Sprouted Grain Bread
I'm becoming a big fan of this stuff. I had started this year by making food choices that were as close to natural as possible. I can't put a label on myself, such as vegan, raw, vegitarian..., because I still eat "easy" pre-prepared foods from time to time. But I learned about this bread through researching natural…

Weight Training Supplements?
Do they have the same stigma as diet/weight loss pills? A temporary fix, a little dangerous, better of doing it on your own...? Is it for a female who just wants to add a little muscle as compared to a guy who really wants to "beef it up"? Is there a multi-supplement pill/powder, or do you have to buy them all separately?…

Can I see the diary of those of you wanting to gain muscle?
I'm used to gearing my "diets" toward staying thin. My goal is to gain muscle and I'm thinking I may not be eating enough. It's all new to me LOL I read some Q&As online but a lot of them are males asking the questions. It must be different for a female. I have made healthier food choices, but I may need to up the…

Rest Days
Is there a benefit to taking certain days for rest? I normally do my workouts Monday through Friday because that's when it's easiest for me. Though, even on weekends I get something in either with my kids or because I've just got energy to burn. Tonight I saw, on an Abs Diet For Women DVD, a trainer say that your body…

30 Day Shred and Rest Days
I recently bought the 30 Day Shred DVD, and I do it every night. I also do weight training on a regular basis and I like my Spin Class. Today I'm taking a rest day from the gym, but still kind of want to do my 30 Day Shred. It's a quick little workout. Should I just not do any of it today? I hate not doing anything. If it…
