Weight Training Supplements?

Do they have the same stigma as diet/weight loss pills? A temporary fix, a little dangerous, better of doing it on your own...?
Is it for a female who just wants to add a little muscle as compared to a guy who really wants to "beef it up"?
Is there a multi-supplement pill/powder, or do you have to buy them all separately? Is it not a good idea to take different supplements at the same time?

Protein and creatine would be fine, and will help, but you can do it on diet alone.0

Whey Protein. It is not harmful and helps your muscles recover.0

I don't take anything other than a daily vitamin.
Some Whey protein in a shake if that counts, but I was doing that only because I wasn't getting enough protein.
I don't think you need supplements for weight training unless you are going to be Miss Weight Lifter America.
If you're just lifting to tone and define you should be able to get that with a proper diet.
IMO

Same for me about the whey protein shakes. I wasn't getting enough protein according to a body analysis I had done. Although according to MFP I am way over now....0 -
I'm actualy lifting for strength, rather than "toning", and I have found a pretty good increase from using Superpump and NO Xplode (not at the same time :-) ). I also take multivitamins and use whey protein occasionally, but prefer to try to get my protein from food.0
