  • I'm keeping to a daily schedule which helps me handle my ADD, get my daily revision and daily steps done, and stick to my meal plan. :) I'm also giving myself weekly mani/pedis so I can do something beauty but not weight based. :)
  • Two Fry's vegan sausages, baked with cherry tomatoes in a small dish with a hash brown balanced on top. Cooks from frozen in 30-40 minutes. No need to wait for the oven to preheat either, just shove it straight in. Right now, I'm having a slice of chocolate-covered Katie's banana bread…
  • Right now, I bake two sausages in a dish with 16 cherry tomatoes and a hash brown balanced on top. Comes in at 341 calories, 8 sugar, 4 fibre, 24 carbs, 14 protein. When this bag of frozen sausages runs out, I'm planning to try Fry's Family Meat Free Banger Style Traditional Sausages. That will make the whole dish 315…
  • I love broccoli and potato soup! I start by making a huge pot of caramelized onions in the slowcooker. 7-8 onions, 1/4 cup of oil, salt, low for 11 hours. Then I freeze those, and use about half a cup whenever a recipe calls for onion. Broccoli and potato soup is a head of broccoli (about four cups), one half cup of the…
  • I weighed 144lbs. Now I'm at 148.
  • 1/3 Cup flour, equal amount of water or non-dairy milk, 1tsp oil, 1 tsp sugar. Makes a single portion of pancakes for under 200 calories.:)
  • 1200 calories sounds really low.:/ It's your body, you know yourself and your circumstances best, but there are very, very few people for whom 1200 calories would be healthy, or an effective way to lose weight. I love carbs, too.:)
  • They may be low calorie, but that doesn't make them healthy. As far as I know, most, if not all, of their breads contain HFCS.

  • True story; I bought this bikini five years ago. I have never worn it in public.
  • For chocolate, try Chocolate Covered Katie( http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/chocolate-covered-recipes/ ). Her recipes tend to be quite low fat/calorie.:)
  • I've never tried to count bread. I probably range from none to 6 or so slices on any given day.
  • Ah, thank you. I had trouble finding the calories, so I'm a bit vague on how much giving blood takes out of you.
  • Paleo is extremely historically inaccurate and does not work for everyone. Someone eating a paleo diet does not indicate that they are a good source of advice on anything (except, possibly paleo). Which isn't to say that they can't advise on other thins - just that eating a paleo diet doesn't indicate anything either way.
  • To add; if I were able to make sensible decisions about doughnuts, I wouldn't be here.
  • I find that, with certain things, I can have none, or I can eat ALL OF THE DOUGHNUTS. I don't want doughnuts. I don't crave them. But, if they are in the house, I will eat them. Thus, we don't have them in the house. (Happily, since I am vegan, and there is only one brand of doughnuts I can eat, my Anthony can still eat…
  • If you want to set a pond loose, just untie the knot. Seriously though; it is extremely inadvisable for you to even think of losing a pound a week, nevermind per day. I'm purely going by the weight on your profile and the average person, but, based on that, you are far too small for losing that amount of weight to be a…
  • If you're in the UK, the Freedom range of frozen desserts are awesome and low-cal.:) All natural sugars and low fat, too!
  • I have a few breakfasts that I rotate depending on mood and fridge contents. As long as your breakfast is nutritious and filling, and you're not getting bored of it, and you're getting enough whatever throughout the day, stick with it, if you like.:)
  • I'm a vegan, but I do eat gluten. I'd highly recommend checking out No Meat Athlete's blog.:)
  • One o. Losing.
  • the one with the raw meat and the one with the bacon. Seriously? Red, looking like muscle fibres? Greasy and looking like burnt muscle fibres? How can you possibly look at a dead body and decide you want to put that in your mouth?
  • I think you're making a serious mistake in using your own, extremely unusual, case as an argument for everyone else in the world.
  • So...you shouldn't do anything because you can't do everything? By that logic, why shouldn't we go on a safari to shoot starving people? No point trying to be nice to them if we can't save them all, right? Pathetic excuses.:)
  • That bit of logic doesn't make sense. A child would run out of whatever nutrient you're on about faster; if they were vegan from birth, and they don't get them from their diets, then all their store came from their mother during pregnancy.
  • Pigs are as intelligent as three-year-old children.
  • No human being is a carnivore, unless they only eat meat. Human beings are ominvores. Personally, my diet is herbivorous.
  • Actually, this post right here? Is ignorant. I have no problems with your body and the diet you've found that works for it. But you clearly have no idea how science actually works.
  • Have you ever been to the NerdFitness forums? Most people there eat a paleo diet, which is very similar to what you describe. Incidentally, I had the opposite problem there.;p I'm a vegan, and some idiot insisted that the paleo diet works for everyone, everywhere, under all circumstances, and it was stupid of me not to eat…
  • My apologies. I assumed you were the same idiot who'd called the OP fat, and were then making comments about my teenaged appearance. If you'd seen the original comments, you'd understand the tension.
  • Oh, that was a response to my post? I was referring to the fact that I've been 5'6 since I was twelve.
