welcome to the club! i say this on every PCOS post: i think it takes us PCOS girls twice as long and we have to work twice as hard to lose weight compared to a 'normal' person! in the past i know that losing even a little weight significantly improves desired outcomes. i was diagnosed almost 10 years ago when my first…

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 yrs ago when I lived in england when my first husband and I couldn’t get preggo. We broke up (not because of that), I lost about 40-50 lbs and moved back home to america. When I was first diagnosed they put me on metformin…I stopped after a couple weeks because it made me soooo sick. Then…

pretty much ditto for me too ^^ i've had it in both my feet for nearly as long as this person. my diet has nothing to do with it (other than eating too much and being overweight as the problem!) inserts in shoes is the key for me! the only time it ever went away for me is in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy. but as soon as…

we did something very similar to this! we had a co-ed 'shower' but it was a wine tasting and had food. some people brought gifts. and we opened them. i think we did a COUPLE of games. it was a lot of fun. and neither of us had a bachelor/bachelorette party

i haven't had a chance to read all the answers others have given yet, but this is what we've done: at the end of the week, they get a reward if they've stayed in their rooms all night, for the whole week. so far we've gone camping, went to a science center, a day of swimming. it can be anything you or they/she chooses and…

lately i've been spending $200 a week for a family of 5, and that includes diapers and hygiene products too. this does not include eating out though. my kids eat like adults and the baby goes through 4 gallons of milk a week (i get her organic and that's pricey at $6 a gallon, but that's what i was spending on raw milk…
