I wake up at 4:30 AM during the week and do it before anyone is up. It's not hard once you get into a routine. I also sometimes exercise during lunch break. When your body adjusts, you'll actually have more energy! Hope this helps. And since most shared, I have three children and work fulltime.

I started running at the end of June. I'm doing the Empire State half marathon in two weeks. I'm very excited! We just did eleven miles yesterday. Mine has gotten that high. I'm 5'9, 40 years and weigh around 148 and do a lot of cardio. I believe it's how fast your hear rate can get back to normal that's important. If you can get that high and it regulates quickly your ok.

I would go online and find a training program that you think you can stick to. I looked at a number of them, found one that I've been able to follow. I'm doing my first one in two weeks! :smile:

I go grocery shopping Saturday mornings after the gym. I come home, clean and cut all the fruits and veggies. I put them in gallon ziplock bags with paper towel (to help with moisture). This way its easy to bring to work. Then I'll make some type of soup for the week.

Most of those places have nutritional information online. If you can find out where you are going, you can look up online before you all go and find something that fits into your caloric needs. Then when you go you'll know what to order.

I do it all the time and im fine. If I were to drink every 20 minutes i think i would have to pee and/ or get a stomachache . We run mostly in the early morning before its really hot.

I would stick to body pump. I do it three times a week and have lost a lot of inches and I have muscle definition. I think a combination of cardio ans weight training is key. Again, as far as cardio goes, running is the highest for me with body combat a close second,

Oh. I think I know what you're talking about. We decided not to use them unless we were not making progress. I guess our thought was to try not to get hooked on anything unless absolutely necessary.

What's goo? My friend planned it so we started at her house. After five miles we ended back up at her house. Had a quick drink outside of her house with our water bottles. Then we did three more. Worked out well.

Can you find people to train with? I found some other people to run with. The program I'm following only has you doing the long run once a week. We did 8 together on Saturday. Not sure I would have done it alone. Also, I'm trying to see if I can get an app for the radio talk show I enjoy listening to. That may make it…
