I don't have cheat days. I have maintenance days. I'm currently at a daily 500 calorie deficit. So if I "cheat" I only add on an extra 500 calories to my meal. It's quite generous and doesn't mess up with all my hard work.

Oh I know! My friends are either not active anymore or they have friend's lists longer than who knows what and aren't able to connect with everyone on their friends list. Add me if you'd like a friend who will actually interact with you!

Yup. Then I take a week off and they are good again. I usually switch up how I cook them too. Boiled, fried, poached, scrambled, soft yolk, hard yolk, etc, etc.

I'd stick more protein in his lunch so he won't get hungry so quickly. Also, see if you can add more low calorie fruits and veggies to his diet so he'll fill up on that sort of thing.

Hello, feel free to add me! :)

First baby I gained 50 lbs. After baby I lost most of the weight and second baby I was smart and tracked calories on MFP and only gained 22 lbs. 20 lbs off right after baby was born. There is a group on here for pregnant women that can help you out with how to adjust your calorie goals specific to each trimester and your…

@poke987 it will take the skin a while to catch up. I'm sure some exercise and strength training will help lots! Way to go on your weightloss! :) I've been discouraged because I've been fighting the same 3 lbs since 3 weeks pp. Little one is 4 1/2 months now. Thankfully,I have a weight tracking app (Libra)which shows how I…

@sarieth05 a loss is a loss!! Celebrate it! :) plus you're that much closer to the 20s! :)

Hello everyone! Jacob will be four months this Monday and we are all doing well. I'm about 5 lbs above my prepregnancy weight. My goal was to have it off by my anniversary (March 9), but I'm not so sure that's realistic anymore. I had wanted to fit into my wedding dress.. but we may jut have to save that for next year…

@ragenhay1 That's fantastic! Keep it up! :) @helenmelon29 oh no! I hope the kids are feeling back to normal soon! We had a little but in the hospital too last week, but thankfully not bad enough to get admitted. It's so hard when they're so little! Definitely thankful for modern medicine! @katiebrew Yes, I got something…

@ragenhay1 Daxx is such a cool name! I love it! Well done keeping up your exercise! :) @katiebrew It will sell, I'm sure. Let's just hope that happens quickly! When we bought our house we went online and searched rather than going for the houses our realtor sent our way. I think we were looking just outside of her area.…
-
Haha I love it! Words of encouragement: my first baby I gained 50(!) pounds. Second baby I had gestational diabetes and through careful logging and eating I gained only 22 pounds - perfect gain for my prepregnancy weight. It can be done!
-
@katiebrew yay for having the house listed! I hope the sellers market picks up for you! It's a sellers market where I am, but unfortunately selling in a sellers market also means buying in one. :( only really works if you're leaving the province. @poke987 Jacob is definitely wearing some clothes he was supposed to get for…

We named our daughter Vanessa. It means butterfly. We also liked Lillian, Madelyn, Sophia, Charlotte, Patricia, Karissa, Elise, Alicia, Anita, Juliet, Kristen and Elizabeth (which ended up as her middle name) :)

What kind of names do you like? Vintage, modern, popular, common enough to spell but uncommon enough to be original?

Great job @poke987! I hope the 5 day forecast proves to be true! :) @ragenhay1 nice work fitting in some time to exercise. I hear you on not aleepig through the night. Although I do have some hope since my daughter slept a 6 hour chunk by 3 months. We can only hope this little guy follows suit! @helenmelon29 aw, I hope…

@sarieth05 that can be so disappointing with not having enough milk. Good for you taking advantage of getting your husband to do some feeds! It looks like Jacob is a tummy sleeper, so now I'm finally getting more sleep. I have an Angel Care monitor (which has a motion sensor to sense if he's breathing and an alarm…

Yup, it's difficult for me to lose weight while EBF (which I do for the first 6 mo.) I'm 4 1/2 weeks in. Remember that your body is storing milk and extra fat for nursing so weighing slightly more than prepregnancy is normal due to that. I second eating higher protein and less carbs. Center your meals around your protein…

It's so nice to keep in touch with everyone! :) how are the little ones (and mamas) sleeping these days? Jacob spends most of the night in my bed... which means he's happy, but I'm exhausted since I don't sleep as well knowing I can't roll over or whatever... but I need to sleep somehow! Goals this week: Focus on…

Try drinking a glass of water before eating every time? Oftentimes our bodies confuse thirst with hunger. Other than that, focus on your proteins first and your fats second. Carbs just don't keep you as full as proteins and fats do so they don't exactly make the best "fill you up" type snacks. At least that's been my…

Hello! I'm Suzanne! My little guy was born on October 22. Before finding out we were pregnant I was 13 lbs into losing my excess baby weight from my previous pregnancy. I still had 15 lbs to go but had to put that goal on hold. I had gestational diabetes this pregnancy and had to watch my carbs and my weight closely. I did…

This is my second baby and this time around I'm proud to say that I stuck to my initial goal of gaining 15-25 lbs throughout my entire pregnancy. Baby boy was born on October 22 at 7lbs11oz. I've got just over 6 lbs to go until I get to my prepregnancy weight, but I had gained considerably more with my first pregnancy; and…

Congratulations @sarieth05! So glad you had a quick delivery! I hope the healing process goes smoothly for you! Enjoy your little man! :)

Oh no fun being uncomfortable at the end! I had my crazy migranes just weeks before baby was born! I guess by now you've either had baby or have an induction date set!? :) Jacob is two weeks old now! It's amazing to think he's been here that long already! Time is just flying by!
-
Hello! I'm new the group too! My little one us just one week old so I'm not logging so consistently just yet (but I will once I hit 6 weeks pp!) I'm currently 184lbs and my goal is to be around the 140-145 range. (I'm 5'7") sending you a request! :)

Baby will be here before you know it, @sarieth05! :) how are you feeling at the end?
