Very well said! If you chose to not do whats best by your child and breast feed because you are worried about a little cracking on your nipple, then that is just plain selfish. A cracked nipple is nothing compared to the pain of pushing a baby out after laboring for hours.

My son is currently 9 months, 100% breast fed, other then baby food, and I work out quite a bit. I have a daily calorie goal of around 1400 and i add 300 for breast feeding. Oh Mummies... not a good morning... not only does the scale say i gained 3lbs since yesterday, my 1st TOM postpartum returned today!!! Ugh and today is my sons field trip to the pumpkin patch..... ok just needed to whine and feel sorry for myself for a minute... good news... my husband will be home tomorrow or sunday!!!
