What a great post. i too feel the pressure of social events and drinking. although people are right, you have to find a balance. For me i find drinking water between drinks helps. or just not drink at all.

i noticed the same with my anxiety. i'm also very sensitive to palpitations and such. also, i felt like i was going to pass out on day 4, i wasnt sure if maybe my blood sugars were low so i had some orange juice, about 1/4 a cup then laid down. not sure if laying down or juice helped. after that though i still continued…

NSV-i can work out and get my heart rate up to 160 and keept it in the zone for 10whole minutes! and a friend i saw about 3 weeks ago said i look 'slimmer' :) Scale Victory-lost 6.5 lbs last week! :)

Hi! I've been on MFP for a year now, i did get discouraged for a while but i'm back on as you are too! :) 25 down so far, and at least another 100 to go! i'm always glad to have new friends and more support!

I'm 26 and have lost 25 so far! I still NEED to lose about 120 to be within the "normal" weight range for my height (5-2) but i would be so happy to just be under 200 as of now! need to lose at least 62lbs more for that! ;) lets be friends :)

25 years of being overweight and obese, i dont want to add another 5 years of burden to my body. i want to be good to my body and be healthy, and feel GOOD! i dont want to be 30 and still be obese, i dont want to put on any more weight, i dont want to stress my body any more! :smile:
