Hello everyone, My name is Heather. I am new to the challenge. Looking to get back into healthier shape and lifestyle. February goals are to track food every day and exercise at least 4x a week. I figure the weight loss will follow, but need to get the healthy habits in place first. Thanks for adding me.

Today is Day 10 Level 1. However, I have started to have terrible pain in my knees. I can no longer do jumping jacks or the jump rope without considerable pain (and not a "good" pain either). I was able to do the whole thing before a few days ago. Is anyone else having this problem? I have been just faking it (bouncing…

Days 6 & 7 done! Forgot to check in yesterday. Honestly can't believe I have stuck with it. I am usually good for 2 or 3 days, then I wander off to something else (something easier). Only 3 more days until level 2!!! I even lost a pound this week. Woot!

Day 5 done! I was feeling guilty about taking a rest day yesterday, but now I am glad I did. My muscles needed to recover. The whole workout was much easier. Not easy of course, but I managed to get through sections that I have been struggling hard with before. Rethinking the no break thing. Maybe take a rest day every 4…

Going to take a rest day today. Seriously pulled something in my left shoulder (unrelated to 30DS - go figure). I would rather let it rest for a day then try to push through and really injure myself. Will do day 5 tomorrow instead.

The workout burns 150-250 calories approximately. I log 150 calories to be on the safe side, but the best way is to use a heart rate monitor for the most accurate count.

Day 4 DONE! Glad y'all are here to keep me honest. I probably would have skipped a day if I didn't. Keep going everyone. We can do this.

Day 3 DONE!!! Man, that first circuit is always the hardest. Am I the only one who feels like dying during the jump rope? I can do it during the 3rd circuit with almost no problem, but I almost can't do it during the first circuit. Though I was going to stroke out! haha As Jillian keeps telling me, that is when the changes…

Day 2 - DONE!! Really sore, but glad I did it. Also did a 3 mile walk earlier to warm up the muscles. Don't know if it helped, but it sure can't hurt.

I'm in! Did level one day one this morning. My plan is to do 10 days on each level. We'll see. Was basically a couch potato before this. I do some walking also. Think I will be feeling it tomorrow, but I am going to stick to it. I am so glad I found this group. I need the accountability.
