  • About 8-15 units per year at max :D
  • Most days as they are in the gym but I always consume the same amount of stuff etc to have it consistent. If i cant do that then i wont weight myself and if I am not training I don't weight myself. Only record if I have gone down :)
  • I can testify to that being true. I get my body test stats done once a month and I gained a lot more lean weight than muscle mass whilst trying to do both. One month I gained 1kg of actual muscle mass but also gained 1.3kg of fat, in order to achieve a ripped muscular body with low fat it takes years of trial and error,…
  • I had a period of 9 months where I gained a lot of muscle and lossed a lot of fat but it was the first period of time I did weightlifting, 4 years ago now. It can be done, maybe more so for newbies as said but the thing is, even if you can do it. You shouldn't. It takes longer & is actually more effort with less reward.…
  • I've lossed a crazy amount of muscle in 2 weeks of being on the calorie deficit, Its not great but I accepted it would happen and made no attempt to stop it, as long as I am feeling okay in myself that's the main thing. Having said that I am lucky to be a bigger built/muscle mass naturally than most so I don't look small.…
  • The weight your carrying makes little difference but it is part of the course to a large extent. You could try having 0.8+ grams of protein per pound of body weight and take amino acids also. Whey protein would be very useful. This will give you a lot more chance of retaining muscle or losing less. Nutrition is a basic…
  • Indeed, I did not word it very well, if something is working for someone or even if not it is their choice and good for you.Thank you for responding in an appropriate manner. I could eat more and control it, I could probably eat a fair bit more and be okay but I just choose not to and its working for me at a pace I can be…
  • At no point did I claim to be an expert and it was a opinion, one which I have already agreed wasn't thought out. The last time I checked a forums main purpose was to share opinions rather than to try belittle people xwith sarcastic comments. Not that its all that important I have for more experience with fitness than 16…
  • I weigh myself in kg but convert it to pounds and then enter it in on here :-)
  • I am absolutely accountable for what I said, I clearly offended people and that I am very regretful for as its the last thing I want to do. I have no problem being corrected when wrong, its just how it is done that is important. Again. Apologies for those offended and good luck in your journeys. -Blake
  • Please see edited part of that message as you replied before I saved changes, I really can't be bothered now as its petty and childish, the fact is I was trying to help, clearly now I realise I could Have worded it better or left it as it may offend some. I still think for some people it could be a useful post but maybe a…
  • How dare you, please look through the rest of my posts before youmake conclusions. I never reply to judge and always try help or motivate where I can, if I can't I don't post. Your talking in riddles now, what I said is true. It Is applicable to most people. Those who it may not be don't have to pay attention. If in your…
  • Exactly this, why work hard and be strong for 6 days out of 7 and then potentially undo some or all of the rewards. My reply wasn't judging or a sweeping statement. It is simply true and was designed to help motivate those who may struggle not to binge. If you are eating more on one or two days a week or upping cals in…
  • Absolutely not. Your either doing it or your not, can't have it both ways. Most I have done in 16days is go over cals by 200, every other day I have been below. I'm down from 90.3 to 86kg. Put foods you enjoy in your allowance and eat wise with the rest of it. Cheat days are for those with weak discipline set to fail!
  • Thanks & get it done! Upload to photobucket or something & try posting it using the direct link and put [img-] link here [/img-] obviously when you put the img codes in leave out the - if you get it wrong I or someone can correct it again lol :)
  • I do this also, I add my walks and stuff and workouts. -Blake
  • Motivation comes from desire, do some soul searching as to how much you want it. If xnup wondering and creating this thread then I am sorry to say but as it is you are very unlikely to be ready or successful. Realise just how much you want it and it wIll ae instantly different. -Blake
  • You should listen to zoe, this IS your body telling you something. You are not getting enough and there's every chance this is more unhealthy than what you were doing before. -Blake
  • Leeds in Yorkshire, England
  • Lookng good! great progress.
  • Seems kind of odd. You could just be drinking more as working out and not used to it and/or eating whole foods that are keeping you full. Try spread your drinking out throughout the day, obviously increased during working out and work out which foods bloat you. Also pay more attention to your fibre intake and try…
  • Doing spinning by yourself is so easy but if you do group spinning with a bossy pushing instructer if feels like Armageddon but leaves you feeling great and 900cals burnt per hour! This is of course if you don't have a cardiac arrest! -Blake
  • I have an open diary, I don't always do things right by the book although I am now but I am losing very fast and don't have as much as many people to lose so must be doing something right. Good luck in reaching your goals! -Blake
  • The most accurate and realistic estimate is around 11 calories per minute. I do it often and when I started I was 21% body fat @ 195pounds. I class one hour as 710cals but I also do one vigorous freestyle length for every 2 walking lengths. Of course it does vary and if you could provide us with additional info on your…
  • Very interesting read. Swimming is your friend! Use it! -Blake
  • Wow, just wow.. Ive gone through more than my fair share of crap also and are really interested to see how this goes for you and watch you grow as a person. You are clearly strong and faced a lot but I bet you can yet become a far stronger and happier version of yourself. Please feel free to add me but I will leave you…
