Sent you a FR. Good luck, girl!

I'm not an expert and not claiming to be, but I will share some info that has worked for me and what I've learned over the years. Other posters are correct. Find a calculator online, like the Scooby or fat2fitratio and calculate how many calories you should consume while incorporating your daily activity (TDEE). No need to…

Weigh all your food on a digital scale. Seriously, I've been doing that for years and it helped me.

Feel free to add me! I've been on MFP for 2.5 yrs. I lift heavy and love it. My food diary is open and I really focus on my eating. I also get in my cardio with HIIT, running, and TurboFire.

Try 2 things: 1. Take a one or two week diet break and eat close to maintenance calories during that time. You may gain some weight, but its mostly water and you lose it right away once you are back to a deficit. 2. Begin measuring all your food using a scale to be sure you're eating the portions you're logging. People…

Agreed. To lose weight, you must be at a calorie deficit, but try to stick to nutritionally rich foods as well. I gave up eating 100 calorie packs 2 1/2 years ago because I knew I'm better off eating an apple instead. Calories in vs calories out is key to weight loss.

Yes. There's also other exercise programs that will assist with weight loss.

Looking through other types of rice in the food database, I came up with 140 grams in 1 cup of cooked rice.

Met-Rx makes a protein shake called "Oats and Whey" It's very good. I've tried the Cinnamon Roll and the Chocolate. All the work it done for ya!

I also looked at your food diary. You tend not to eat any fresh foods and stick to convenience foods. Also, in your food diary today, you have 1100 calories worth of dairy products listed. Find a balance of carbohydrates with vegetables, fruit, and slow digesting starches. Eat low sodium proteins and unprocessed foods.…

People with over 100 friends are pretty fkn awesome. I have less than 15, so I'm not that awesome.

33 **kitten* smacks* for you, B-Day Bish!!

I like my thighs. I'd love them if they had a little less chub at the top. These bishes are strong and I love that about them!

Put your macro settings at 40% carbs/30% protein/30% fat and try to stick to those numbers as close as you can. You definately need more protein. I would also suggest eating less carbs from starches, such as bread, and consume carbohydrates from fresh fruit and green/ leafy vegetables. Try to focus on calories in vs.…

No, that's just considered your basal metabolism, not exercise, so don't log it. You can now link your BMF to your MFP account by going to apps.

My husband gets the same comments. He's about 5'9" and about 152#, lean with decent muscle size. He's about 12% BF with a little to pinch. My sister saw him recently and asked if he was alright because she thought there was something wrong with him. She thought he was sick because he looked "so skinny". I actually think he…

I agree with what everyone has stated so far. Eat food that must be prepared; not convenience foods. Processed food has a lot of sodium. 2 days can derail 5 days of hard work. Track on weekends and be mindful of what you're eating. Consume more calories than 1200, especially more protein. Try to double your protein intake…

Try making refrigerator/overnight oatmeal. You can google the recipe or search the recipe forums on MFP. I tried it and it's good. I'm a big oatmeal fan.
-
After looking at your food diary, I would suggest eating less processed foods and eat as much fresh foods as possible. Processed foods have a lot of sodium and additives. Try to eat foods that can be picked, planted, caught, or hunted. I know it's difficult to prepare meals, especially when you have to care for children. I…

You look fantastic! Naturally gorgeous. Congratulations on your success!

I have Spectrum chia seeds. I found them in the organic section of my grocery store and I enjoy them.

What ErinBeth said. She beat me to the punch. Clean up your diet, if you haven't already. Eat good food and stick with a decent calorie deficit to lose the fat over your muscles. I still struggle with this too, btw.

I love this!

I made these and they're very tasty! They are a bit crumbly after processing the ingredients, but I pressed them into a glass 8x8 baking dish and cut them into bars. Then, I kept them wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge until I was ready to eat more. They are like Larabars, but not as moist.

I have only done Tabata a handful of times sporatically, so I can't give you any details about results. I enjoy it and it's challenging. You do the same exercise, such as pushups, for 20 seconds, pumping out as many reps as possible, rest 10 seconds, then do it all again for 8 sets in a row. Then, you get a 1-2 minute rest…

Jen, I learned all this from you! It's from the Fat Loss Troubleshoot. You inspired this post. *Mwah*

You are gorgeous, my dear! Glad to hear that you're getting back to good health. Good luck with your goals! I know you can do it!

My new favorite way to cook my eggs is to take 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, vanilla, and cinnamon and scramble. Cook in a pan and drizzle with sugar free maple syrup. Tastes like French Toast! Nom, nom, nom.

One rep max: Deadlift 225# Bench Press 165# Squat 205# Leg Press 490# BTW, I'm 5'2" and 150lbs.

I did this workout for the first time last Monday and it was a great workout! I burned about 595-650 calories and was drenched with sweat. Afterwards, I felt like I accomplished a lot. I can see how it would be very challenging for someone who is just beginning to workout or who isn't in the best shape. There's a lot of…
