Post your goals everywhere, and when you feel dismayed, really think and visualize what you want and how you are going to get there. Its hard to stay focused with three small kids, but you gotta take care of you too. If momma isn't happy, no one is happy :) With the right attitude, you can do it

Perhaps I missed something perhaps I didn't. Whatever, just remeber when you put yourself out there and ask for help, you will get honest answers. My goal is not to offend you. My goal is to say we have to be responsible for what we eat. We are all busy and have responsibilities that lead us from taking care of ourselves.…

I am concerned about asking others "what to eat" as well as being on an appetite suppressant. Why would you want to take an appetite suppressant when you already don't think you can eat 1200 calories anyway? I am not trying to be mean or judgemental, but these are very alarming to me. There is no magic food or pill that…

I am 5'4" and weighing 150. I weighed almost 200 pounds for a very long time. My goal is 130. My goal is also a tummy tuck to remove the extra skin from my 10 pound child I gave birth to. I really just want to be lean and muscular machine :D

I am 5'4 and trying to get to 130. There is such a thing as being too skinny, but it is ultimately your choice. If you add muscle building to your regimen (if you aren't already) that will increase your weight but will fill you out. Again, its what you want, and if you don't have saggy skin issues, do what you must :D

It really isn't any of their business. You didn't do all this work to be half way there. I deal with it to as I am trying to lose that last 10. People just do not understand unless they are on the same journey. Just smile and nod and internally agree to disagree.

i don't see it, i will look at it agin later with not tired eyes

Just stick with it. I am on a a7 month plateau. I don't count this month because I took a break out of frustration. Definitely take your measurements, they will help keep you focused :D

Thanks to all who responded. Your words are very encouraging. We will do this, even if we spend the rest of our lives trying. This journey is supposed to be tough, I just didn't realize how tough it was going to be :D

Keep moving!!!! I ate a lot of gobstoppers and ate french fries. I found myself smoking my french fries, for real. I also tell myself that it doesn't fit into my lifestyle anymore. good luck and stay strong

Why are you not worth life's little rewards. Add me as a friend if you like. We all have battles we fight about ourselves in this journey.

Let us first not blame a drug that may be helping you. I don't know you, but I work in a sea of mental health medications. Things to look at, are you eating enough carbs, that is your energy food. Someone else said something about iron levels. What about whatever your diagnosis is for you to be on Zoloft. If your dealing…

I struggle with this too. Maybe when I actually hit my goal weight I will see it. One would think that completing a half marathon at a respectable first timer pace of 2.46 hr (I am short, only quit smoking recently, blah blah blah) that I would feel it. Maybe when I prove to myself that I have kept going after the half,…

In my P90X training, i use a variety of weights ranging from 5 - 20 pound dumb bells. It really just depends on the activity. I would consider doing the 30 Day shred by Jillian Michaels, I have heard a lot of great things about that one and its like $10 at Wal- Mart. As for my dieting and increase in net calories, I too…

As said by another MFP: I started mixing strength training and cardio into a kind of "circuit training" and holy moly! Noticed a huge change in a short time. Definitely worked better than the straight cardio I was doing for awhile. Oh yeah. Mix your stuff up, increase net calories, and things will improve. Yesterday, I had…

Going through this myself. I recently increased my calories to 1200 net which means consuming 2000- 2300 calories on my heavy work out days. My workout routine is currently P90X 6 days a week and half- marathon training. After about four days of the increased calories I started losing ounces, which is the first decrease in…

On day 33 of P90X . I hate it but I love it :D

If you are under your calories, you are under your calories. It doesn't matter when you eat. The concept behind this is simple. Eating at night doesn't mean eating a third full dinner at 3:00am. It means consuming enough calories to sustain your life.

I really don't think its your shoes. That is where my hubby gets his blisters too. I bought Kevin Wright Sock Cool Mesh II. Maybe try the next size down. Plus there is a way to tie your shoes that reduces friction too. Its really hard to explain in print but here goes...At the top of the shoe lace holes, there are those to…
