Hello fellow run/walkers and 100 mile challenge participants;
Sorry I could not send any updates last week, and for those that don't know why I will spare you the story, but I hope to get back to weekly updates through the end of the month. It's been a heck of a week for me, but I was still able to log my 25 miles (25.1, but who's counting...lol), so as of now I am @ 50miles for the month (haven't updated ticker yet, so you have to trust me).
HALFWAY HOME BABY.
So how about you, how is everything going for you and your challenge journey? Feel free to brag on yourself, and share any NSV you may have since the beginning of the month. For me, my NSV has been establishing the mental strength to separate what I want to do from what I need to do. I know for some this may not be a bells and whistles moment, but for someone who has struggled with motivation and making healthy decisions for quite a while, it's been AWESOME.
I can't wait to hear from you all!
Keep running and keep giving your best. In the immortal words of Forest Gump ".... if I was going anywhere, I was a running"

Hey! Checking in here, I've logged 45 miles so far. A few short of the pace I would like to be at but there is plenty of time to smash the 100 mark! Running training is going well. I've been doing intervals and shorter tempo run days more frequently lately. Trying to work on speed as I've signed up for a couple of races in October a 10k and a 15k and I want to improve pace beforehand. I plan to do a long run (10 miles) on Saturday morning.
My biggest thing right now is trying to focus on my goals and not get side-tracked by daily stuff that tries to throw me off. I am training for a 1/2M Nov 6 and its motivating me to take better care of the diet. A positive attitude goes a long way too!
Good luck everyone and keep up the running!0 -
I have 37 in so far. Not as much as I'd like but not too shabby0
