started a week ago on the lowest dose, no effects good or bad so far. hugely disappointing, given the cost. mostly just feel like crying, i'd had a lot of hope on this thing having some effect, since I'd not heard anyone else having trouble with it and instead, i'm just broke.

I pretty much gave up on cheese right at the start because it's 100 calories a bite essentially. Even though cheese is like the only thing I ever want to eat. sigh. and not much of what i eat uses cooking oil.

i felt for the past week like my weights a bit stalled, but yesterday i was thinking 'hmmm, my waist looks thinner' and two people commented on how they'd noticed i'd lost so much weight over the year. so i guess things are still going on with it.

I'm a kilo away from my 2011 weight, which made me depressed at the time because i was so fat.

I've only lost 7kg so far of about 50kg. So far to go. Not sure it shows much yet, or that this is a particularly photo-friendly outfit.

I went to the gym today and have 700 calories extra today which i'm not going to eat. I know it doesn't really work that way, but I'm counting that on tomorrow's calories, which I've worked out as being about 3000 calories, of a chocolate egg, a meal, and alcohol.

I try to budget alcohol with exercise calories, because it's not feasible to get a bottle of wine into 1200 calories.

i've got a band tshirt i haven't worn for years (it probably shrank too along the way). Once I can put that on again and breathe, i'll be motivated for the rest.

I've got a coat that I've had for like 6 years which has never really fit. Now it's actually starting to. Shame it's so tatty looking now. Still, this means by the time winter rolls around again I should hopefully have more choices of coats.

I think occasionally i've been under 1000, and it comes up with a message when you press complete entry saying you're eating too little. i do between 1200 and 1500 calories, depending on activity level, and have cheat days every fortnight, which have been a pizza meal out, a big nachos plate, a chinese takeaway and this weekend some sort of kebab with chips. I hadn't weighed myself much, but the measurements seem positve. I sorta wonder if the cheat days…
