This was my first thought, too. I'd be LIVID if I were you. Ugh!

+1. I'm so sorry. Sib relationships can be strained from things that parents do and I know how hard it is. I don't speak to my younger brothers (who I raised; I was a sister-mom to them since they're 7.5 and 8.5 yrs younger) due to a lot of parental drama after parents divorced. They listened to their dad and I haven't…

Yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ended up eating a bit more than usual last night (just about 150 cals-ish higher, so NBD) and had a 2 lb woosh this morning... what the whah?? IDK but I'll take it. So now @tubbs I think we're almost identical in stats... I have 8 lb to go to goal, about 5 after that. I desperately need new work clothes because they're…

It's ok, today is a new day :) Snacks can be good (says the person who just steers clearof the chips/cookies aisle and ice cream freezers because it would be ON like Donkey Kong if I even went near them...)
-
Yep, lost 30, 10 more to go until goal (I'll probably adjust it another 3-5 after that but who knows. Strict has been working for me up until now. I mean, I still do it, and I'm still losing, but... the motivation is starting to slide away. My other option is eat a couple hundred more cals than usual today and just avoid…

I have such a hangry right now. I am struggling lol... I think it's a sign I need to up my calories a bit anyway- kind of a slower slide into maintenance, right? (lol really I just want to EATALLTHETHINGS! lol)

Yep my teeth are like swiss cheese :( I've spent (at last tally) $15k out of pocket just since March 1st this year, on root canals/crowns, fillings, all of it. I go Thursday for 3 more fillings, I just had 3 done last Friday, and I think I have 4 remaining until everything is done.

yay for Jersey!!! I went to Seton Hall for undergrad :) (No one here in MI even knows the school unless they're basketball fans). I've told DH I would live near the Pine Barrens in a hot second. He does not share my enthusiasm :/

Yay!!! I love my Fitbit, seriously. It was free (had a Best Buy gift card and it was on sale for $45, so the card covered it completely) but I would've paid full price for it.
-
I'm going on the Fitbit adding spree lol. I'm Heather and my user pic is a pic of my youngest DS lol
-
Hey a loss is a loss! :D
-
5'4.5, CW 143.5, GW is 133.5, so I'm doing a slow slide into maintenance starting today, actually.
-
Ooh! Can I be in the fitbit challenge? Where is it? I LOVE my Fitbit! I seriously think it's part of how I'm losing so well this time.

So I'm trying to catch up @orangesmartie yay for a meetup! It sounds so awesome! I'm jealous! @nonoelmo hurray for NSVs!!!!! You rock!!!! @pofoster21 yay for coming home! I would also like to say that directly because of this thread, I talked to DH last night (and there was no yelling and/or crying involved lol) and we…

My oldest looks like Ed, except with Hazel eyes instead of Ed's. Same hair, freckles, etc. And thanks everyone for not ragging on me- whenever I try to say even a little bit of "I'd like a girl or a 3rd" IRL I get SLAMMED. Everyone bags on me, so I just keep it in. We live in a relatively affluent community and it's 1-2…

This. I drink it for health but not to excess and I have NO desire for more water.

+1! I NEED a short work week!

Coastal (responding to the first post since I never saw it) I feel the same. I pretty much feel like I'm drowning. I'm expected to be the rock for everyone, and most of the time I stoically am. But times like right now, I just want to scream and cry and throw a fit. I want someone to comfort ME and no one is. I'm supposed…

If it helps you any, I can offer some suggestions. I have to eat like this due to some of my health problems. In order to keep my weight lower and my sugar in check, I have to follow a keto/very low carb diet. I usually end up < 15 g/day. I do dairy, though, because I need the calcium and most people do, unless you're…

I wear my headphones (sorry Fester!) walking from my car to work and back (about 1/2 a mile each way) because I'm walking through a sketch area of Detroit and if you don't wear them, you get stopped every 100 feet by a homeless person asking for change. And thanks everyone for all of the congrats! I celebrated by eating my…

This. I haven't had a sugar crash (I'm hypoglycemic) in the 6.5 weeks I've been doing this, so I feel MUCH better. I could eat like this forever (and will). Eating fewer cals, though, makes me pretty snappy periodically. I've never had the "satiated, can't eat another bite" feeling on anything less than 1500 cals, and…

This whole convo made me snort out loud laughing... You just KNOW it'll be something ridiculous like Sky or Easton or Star or Kompass... And to be fair, I actually do think the name North/Nori is cute. Just not with West.

My oldest is 3.5 and I know I was pretty thin/normal when I got pregnant with him. I remember the doctor telling me 138 (sticks in my brain because I thought it was "so fat" *rolls eyes* ) so that's what I'm basing it on, but I'm aiming for 133.5 to make it an even 40 lbs lost. Plus if I can maintain 130-133.5, I'll be…

@raelynnsmama52512 yayyyyy for her using the potty!!!! That's a milestone and I know how excited you are! Our 3.5 yr old is finally starting to get potty training with no accidents but it was a LONG battle to get to this point. @pofoster21 I was contemplating going back for my DBA, but it is completely irrelevant for my…

My 3.5 yr old is very high energy and goes crazy without lots of sports, so I'm in the middle of planning out his next year (since everything here starts at 3-4). He's doing learn to ice skate (the start of playing hockey, which DH does and insists our oldest is doing it too) on Saturday mornings until Sept, then in Fall…

My mom had one when I was little and she was insane. Total bird dog that lost her mind any time she saw anything small. @pofoster21 I'm so sorry you got screwed over. It happens in my organization too. I'm in IT, doing analyst/project management work, and EVERY time a Developer or Senior Proj Mgr gets credit for things…

I don't like that this was on page 4 and told me there were no new updates :( I had a hard time finding it. So my confession- I hopped on the scale this morning, was SUPER excited when I saw my weight because I thought it put my BMI in the normal range (25). Turns out < 25 is "normal" *sigh* That was a pretty big letdown.…
