you are awesome! i have the same gluten issues as you. tons of edema, joint aches & pains, mental fog. losing the gluten has been a game changer.

two things that have helped me are: #1 be real with myself and #2 take ownership/control over only that which i actually can control. lots of times, what i'm reacting over is not what i'm *actually* angry over. if i'm dealing with actual issues and not stuffing them down, i very rarely become angry to the point of an…

i'm over it. like, all of it. i don't want to be at work, don't want to be awake, and don't want to be fat LOL. and the coffee tasted like road tar this morning. at least i'm halfway through the week!

i confess your profile pic made me snort-laugh

so this has most likely been mentioned several times over, but i'll mention it again: PEANUT BUTTER. WTF? how? honestly, i still cannot form a full sentence about it. re-shocks me about twice a year.

dude, ish just got real #highfive in all seriousness though, i really do like mine!

i'm doing t25 now (week 2) and i love it. what's really great is that you can get a feel for every program since you have unlimited access. this past sunday, i did you v.2 since it was my day "off" but i wanted to stay active. the price i paid a couple of weeks ago was $160 and that included a month's supply of shakeology.…

i am definitely like this. i need volume to keep from binging on crap. i have often bought 2 garden salads at a restaurant and can easily eat a full bag of greens in a salad. i wish i was satisfied on less, but sadly i'm not!

i have a similar story...but 1 kid...still a yo-yo! i'll FR you!
-
are you in my head because this sounds like my story!! we can get back on this horse and succeed this time!!
-
i'm with you. apparently i'm dense because i never quite stick to the regimen i KNOW works. sigh.

2010 when i was pregnant! WTLT you were able to truly enjoy eating something without worrying about the effects it'd have on your body?

put a can of pumpkin in my chili this weekend, highly recommend! no change in taste, but gives it a nice texture. bought a bag of pumpkin spice hershey's kisses. they were a little disappointing.

threw away the peanut butter. WHY is it so many damn calories??? threw away the gluten free baked goods i bought last week because they KILLED my plan...oh wait, i did that one! go me

mine is strength related. my son is 5 and weighs 68 pounds (a 6'4" father will do that!) and i realized last night playing with him that i can pick him up cradle-style and toss him in the air and catch him. i also can toss him over my shoulders and do squats with him. he loved most when i twirled him backwards to set him…

i just asked to buy 2 of the ori's (i have 2 monitors)...i love the greener cheaper option!

i love pumpkin spice season! i'll eat pumpkin everything...except pumpkin pie. weird, huh? i actually put pumpkin spice on my chicken for lunches this week. i already like cinnamon on chicken, so figured i'd try pumpkin spice. love mcd's pumpkin spice lattes but MAN are they too sweet! i buy a small and then also a large…

i love apple season! my favorites are nittany (a local penn state variety), braeburn, & fuji. i cannot wait to get my hands on some cider and to make some applesauce & apple butter!

read the NSV stories under Success Stories on these boards. they are so motivating and inspiring! when i'm feeling down, that's what i do. i also binge watch My 600 Lb. Life lol.

i love my parents dearly but made tire marks getting out of there once i turned 18! it's tough when both you & your parents have strong opinions on things. you're doing awesome though, keep up the great work!

you rock!!

i'll give a good one! the night i went on my first date with now-hubby, i left the date saying to myself, "i'm going to marry that guy". no lie. it wasn't just chemistry in the physical sense, although it was there. everything was just perfect and we clicked so well. there was lots of laughing and my estimation of a 1-hour…

i bring my gym bag with me and change here at work. i know if i go home first, there's no going back out. now, i do not pass go and do not collect $200...i go straight to the gym! (hope you get my monopoly joke)
-
love your attitude! i'm going to remember 'no knock' when i'm at the gym later!
-
first concert - aerosmith. i still love them!

it was because of a doctor, but not because of my weight per se. my doctor basically told me that, because of my family history, being on cholesterol/heart meds is in my future. however, she said it's up to me to decide whether that is next year or in a couple of decades. i think that feeling like i was in the driver's…

i aim for a gallon a day, but usually fall a bit short.
