  • My doctor is originally from Korea and is mostly supportive. He's a whole food kind of guy and understands my position. If your doctor challenges you ask him or her to give you real scientific proof that low carb is bad/wrong. They can't and if you visit Jimmy Moore's website than you have all the ammo you need to prove…
  • I eat a tbsp of peanut butter before my run and after dinner. Each tbsp adds about 100 calories. It's not a lot but it's some and I do love some organic peanut butter!
  • OK. For those with Chrome and TamperMonkey go ahead and delete the script from from TamperMonkey. Go the to the Reddit conversation here: http://www.reddit.com/r/keto/comments/1glm3z/myfitnesspal_chrome_extension_not_working/ In MrBobVilla's comment "I have an updated version of the script here. I also let the creator of…
  • Hmm. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and edited manually and I still get nothing. My Tampermonkey icon has a little red "1" under it when I land on the food diary page so something is up but no description of the problem appears. Maybe I'll just wait for the developer to update it officially.
  • Anyone have this working in Chrome with Tampermonley?
  • If you're having problems then go with Smooth Move. If you're worried about frequency or "size" don't be. When I'm behaving I "move" every other day and it's a small amount. As I understand it your body is using more of what you eat therefor there is little waste left to get rid of.
  • Eating fat is the key to being satisfied. Set your target in My Fitness Pal for fat to at least 50% and keep carbs below 20% maybe as low as 5%. And don't worry about finding protein, if your getting that much fat there is likely a lot pf protein attached to it. Always give ketosis 2-3 weeks before you freak out about…
  • I find the days after a cheat are the toughest. You aren't in ketosis so your body is looking for carbs for fuel which you aren't giving it. You SHOULD be tired! My biggest success involved diet only, no gym. I went from 215 to 165 in about 6 months. I'd recommend skipping the gym for a while. At least until your adding…
  • Ah! I see. So when it adds calories and knows my ratio of carbs/fat/protein their counts all go up accordingly. That makes sense.
  • I always thought dry reds were lower than whites? We stick with reds because we like them better and I think there are more health benefits from the tanins, etc.
  • Too many responses for me to go through so forgive me if I am repeating myself. I've been low carb for the past 10 years or so with a few wagon falls around the holidays. I would recommend NOT subtracting the fiber until you're well into fat loss. Then count the fiber as you start to add carbs back into your diet. Ignore…
