I don't know. I haven't tried it yet. I just now read it in a magazine.

I just stopped nursing 3 weeks ago, and lost 25 lbs. from nursing. That was one of the main reasons I breastfed. I had ooboodles of milk with a freezer full right now! I ate about 1400 cals per day. Since i've quit nursing, I 'm having a hard time losing. I want to lose about 10-15 more lbs.

I just read this in American Baby magazine and wanted to share. You can find out a food's calorie count when you are dining out before ordering: text the restaurant name and dish to DIET1 (diet.com's free service) and receive a reply with nutritional info. Isn't that the coolest!!!:drinker:

Good luck to you! I'm trying to lose baby weight, too from my 3 mth old.

It's great to see someone on MFP that is from the same area as me. I'm originally from Manchester, TN but I'm currently living in Picayune, MS. I also graduated from MTSU many years ago:laugh:

asics all the way!!!

MFP has already included a 500 calorie deficit in your calorie limit, so when you eat your exercise cals you are still under 500 calories, and by the end of the week it equals 3500 calories, hence 1 lb lost!

It looks like too many calories to me. My calorie limit is 1300 calories per day, not adding exercise calories. So if I don't exercise, then I can't go over that number, but i do eat my exercise calories. I would trust this website's numbers when you set up your profile and goals. My BMR is 1343. Do you see the numbers…

 I guess I don't understand how that can happen. I have to exercise so I can eat and not starve! I am on a 1300 cal/day, and if I don't exercise, I go over starving. I don't think you can carry them. You must eat your calories or you wont lose weight as effectively.

 try peanut butter and sliced apples on 2 pieces of whole grain bread. This way you get your protein, carbs, and a fruit. Oh, and don't forget 1/2 cup of skim milk!! Also, eat the rest of the apple after your sandwich. Its quick and easy, and can be taken on the run.

I feel like I'm starving on days that I don't exercise. Just burning 200 calories helps alot!!! You can do it!!
-
I just had a baby 2 months ago and started back working out. I can do 40 girl push-ups but only 3 boy pushups. I'm working on it!!!
-
Great idea!!:drinker:

Lots of fruits and veggies!!! Also, lots of high intensity exercise will give you those calories that you have to eat. Try to burn at least 200-300 calories every day. It's hard to do,, but you feel so excited afterwards to get to add those extra calories to your day. Lots of luck!!

I'm HYPERthyroid. Don't understand why you can't have soy. I've never heard of that. Do some research.

I would log them as low impact or high with ?minutes of circuit training since there is no way to log weight training. I've found that to be the most accurate.

Pilates and a heavy cardio program work best. Pilates strengthen our core muscles and keep our 'inner girdle' strong and pulled in. Sit-ups will not pull in or strengthen your 'inner girdle'. Unfortunatley, only women usually have to worry about this as an expanding belly weakens our inner girdle. There are great pilates…

I started MFP in Mar and just found out im pregnant too! You need to go to the goals section and set your goals to maintaining instead of losing. I t will show you your cals to be about 1600-1900 according to your body needs. Maintaining is all you need to do now. That way you know you won't gain fat, instead you will gain…

I would enter 1/2 cardio and 1/2 calisthenics. or 3/4 adn 1/4.
-
In the cardio section it would just be circuit training for however many minutes. Easy!!!
-
Add all caloric amounts of each ingredient and divide by serving sizes. Thats the best way

After New Balance and super bad knees, almost having surgery, Asics took my 5-5, 140 lb body to all new running strides. If no t the right shoes, no one can run. I wear Asics 2120's about $100, and they last me about 4-5 months. Pretty good i think. I have not had one single knee problem since the switch to Asics. No more…

YES, your body must have water to metabolize fat.! That is why it is recommended for weight loss to drink 6-8 cups per day. It also help with waste removal, give you energy, and is great for your skin. Any food made by God is essential in some way to our body. Manmade foods are harmful to our bodies. Just remember that. I…

The trick to getting the shell off is too pinch the wide, end part of the egg and then peel it. ( notice there is a wide end and a narrow end of the egg). That will get the membrane and that is what sticks to the egg. Works every time if you do it correctly. You can do them hot or cold.

Thanks!! will be baby #3-hopefully a boy with our two girls, so hubby will hush up about too much estrogen in the house.

the machine tells you differently than MFP. I would always go with the least burned.
