I tore a tendon off and broke a chip off my bone at the joint on my last digit of my left pinky at a concert during a fall one year. Had to have surgery. Did you have surgery? What tendons did you tear?

cut out soda! It's horribly bad for you. It took me a year to stop drinking it altogether. I drink 2 liters of water a day (since Jan 2011) and 1-2 cups of coffee a day (usually 1). Occasionally, I'll have some orange juice. No other sugary drinks at all.

I have gout and can't eat bread often because of the yeast. So here's how I cope: I eat pancakes (1/3 cup of bisquick per pancake), rice cakes, or flour tortillas. If the fast food people can do it, so can I. I make a breakfast tortilla...egg and cheese. Or, I do a lunch tortilla. You can even make a flour tortilla pizza…

Thank you. I don't have a food processor but need to get one because I try to make lima bean hummus in my blender and it's not so easy. I like the looks of your recipe and may try it. I like how MFP calculates everything for the recipes entered. Take care.

I'm sorry you are in pain. This is a medical question for a medical site? My father was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia via hair sample analysis because no other test showed anything. Maybe you can mention this to your doctor? I hope you feel better soon and get to the core issue of the pain.

I have to pack my lunch three days a week. Though I have to stay away from bread (anything with yeast), I found that making a sandwich out of a flour tortilla works well. I can make a breakfast tortilla or meat/cheese/veggie. Wrap it in foil and put an ice pack in my lunch bag. I bring yogurt. I pack my roasted vegetables…

I have an Android phone and the app works well with it. I just used the barcode scanner (accidentally) the other night and it was very cool and actually helped because it was package sushi. Very cool! It's good to have MFP at your fingertips while away from home.

Okay, I'm addicted to too many things but right now I don't feel any of them...I'M HYPED ON MFP and the DESIRE TO LOSE WEIGHT BIGTIME....So I'll not focus on those but focus on trying to get these meals to fit properly in the allotments. I hope we all make our goals. :)
