I'm a total mutt! I think my largest percentage is Russian Jewish (about 25%.) Then, I'm a total blend of about every European country there is. I'm not sure any living relatives know exactly WHICH European countries. I welcome all friend adds! Always looking for people to motivate and be motivated by!

It sounds like you went through hell, but you are strong woman to have pulled through the other side. I'm grateful you had the legal option to abort to save your life. Your pics seem to be working now and you look great! Keep up the good work!

Seeing my dog smile when we walk together. Feeling my 'fat' clothes get baggier. Seeing my belly not stick out so far. Yes, watching the scale go down. Having enough energy to keep exercising!!!

I can only speak for myself. My weight is very high for my clothing size. It always has been. A weight that looks good and healthy for someone with a bigger frame would look a little big for a smaller framed individual. Also, I know the BMI and weight charts seem very off for me.

You have the RIGHT IDEA!

I have to speak out for the shoes. I bought a pair of MBT shoes (I think these were the predecessor to the Skechers Shape Ups, which i also own.) I wear a rocking sole 90% or more of the time. I do not think they male you lose weight. However, I do notice I difference in muscle fatigue when I walk or hike in these versus…

For exercise, with such a busy schedule, I highly recommend parking far away and walking in to wherever you go and taking stairs instead of elevators when possible. These are small things you can do that add up without taking a lot of time with your already busy schedule. That's all I got for now! Feel free to add me.

What I found is that if you add it to strength training, it doesn't show calories burned. You have to add "strength training" to your cardio in # of minutes. Hope this helps!

A couple people have said this, but just to reiterate: how about a cheat item or meal instead of a whole day. It can satisfy the urge to eat something really yummy, and if you don't go totally hog wild, it can still fit into your daily calories. For example, my hubby loves pizza, so we went to Pizza Hut. I had 3 slices for…
