Any exercise that you add to a caloric intake of 1000 kcals would probably put you at the same caloric intake as exercise bulimics. Try eating more and then work in exercise.
-
Food is fuel. Fuel your body more. I know it sounds good, but even 6 year olds eat more than 1200 calories.
-
Um. Please don't do that method of "weight loss" Will you lose weight? Yes but it also works for anorexics and exercise bulimics. But that is not sustainable or healthy, nor should that be a goal.
-
i'm not sure what you're asking. do you mean not eating exercise calories, or eating like 500kcals a day or something. anyway, i'd say the biggest one for both would be fatigue and reduced recovery/motivation.

I would also like more abs. Therefore we have common interests. Welcome aboard the friend train.

A bra in my current size of about a 36E is about 40 bucks. Please bring on the breast shrinkage. I'll pray for it. But I haven't been below a D since high school. Not even when I weight 105#. Terrible life.
-
Yes exactly. So I'm asking him where it has been disproved.
-
Please tell me where this has been disproved?

what ldrsophilia said. people in poverty make up a large chunk of obese people. telling people they need to eat their five a day does nothing if they cannot afford it.
-
It depends on how much you have to lose. For example 10 pound loss from someone who was originally 110 would be noticeable, whereas that same 10 pounds coming from someone who is 200lbs would not be as noticeable. Just be patient.

What are empty calories? Also, what helped me was I stopped buying low-fat foods, and just bought the full fat instead.
-
It also leads to increased deliciousness if you do it right. omnomnom pizza.
-
do you mean that you want to eat cheese in general? or just eat cheese all the time? i suggest that you incorporate cheese into your diet. but a diet consisting solely of cheese will lock your bowls up tighter than you can imagine.

Food won't do it. But lifting weights might. Actually, it probably will because it takes a lot to break down and repair muscle.
-
I think that's by far the nastiest thing I've seen. That being said, please flatten it out into a normal pie and I'd love it. If I want food, I'm going to eat it... In moderation.

I like a tuna salad (made with mayo, lots of pepper, and celery) on some toasted sourdough! With lettuce and tomato, and a side of chips of course. My dream meal. I get hungry just thinking about it.
-
What's the time limit for? By setting arbitrary goals, you set yourself up for failure. Just take it as you go.
-
Eat your exercise calories. Or possibly half of them if you feel that they have been overestimated. Your NET is Calories - Exercise. So if you eat 1600 and burn 400, then your net is 1200 and you've reached your daily goal. Your deficit is already built in.
-
Why do you want to have such a low BMI? Its still in the healthy range, but only by a smidge. If anything you want to begin eating at a surplus and start lifting, and forget about numbers.
-
I don't think it's possible. That would end up at about 3 lbs a week, no? Also, you're going to need to eat more than 1200. Either eat some more calorie-dense food, or quantity I hate to say it but neither you nor I packed on extra weight by eating little bits of food. Also, dinner ain't crackers!
-
That's great! I'm glad I didn't waste 12 bucks! I look forward to finishing it :)
-
how do you like nrolfw? i just started reading it and i'm excited to get it into.
-
You won't get bulky for 2, mostly assumed, reasons: 1. you probably don't make enough testosterone. 2. you're eating at a deficit
-
You really need to eat more.

there's always going to be a discrepancy. whether you place it in one area of the house or another. whether you stand on it the same way every time. i like digital better than analog. i like to step on several times in a row, bad habits and all, and my newest scale has been programmed to display the same weight every time…
-
Good luck, dude! Congrats on the cute baby! And I'm glad you have realistic weight loss goals!
-
I'm glad somebody gets it! lol.

Why not do both? Do cardio for 2 days, and lift heavy things up for 2 days?
