I have a desk job. I am unsure how many steps I get in because this hasn't been one of my goals yet but to help with physical movement I: for each of my 15 min. breaks instead of walking to the break room and sitting down again I walk/run the stairs in harsh weather or walk at a brisk pace outside in good weather. I always…

I read about your salad at school. I would find out if the people that prepare the salad know? Or at least they may know the amounts they put in it. Any information is helpful in tracking. Beware of the dressing if you use any. Walking works for me too. I do other cardio as well but when I am at work I walk on my breaks,…

The other day I had a co-worker (she is newer to our office and is on another team) see my name badge which shows the picture of me at 128lbs heavier. she proceeds to speak her mind: Her: " OH you have lost a lot of weight recently haven't you I can see it in your picture." Me: "Yes, I have lost 128lbs (usually this is a…

Try yummly.com I use that all the time you can move the slider bars on the left to choose calories ect. But be ware that the calorie counts aren't always correct. I usually pick a recipe and then use MFP to help decipher the nutrition. We are having easy Mexican chicken with Mexican rice. All inspired by yummly.com

I entered mine as circuit training. I am 5'2" and weigh 151lbs. I wear an HRM and calculated between 110 and 130 for each level. Depended on how much effort I put in. I also want to mention that these calculations were doing the high intensity. I hope it helps.

I find I burn less inside. I walk a walking bridge everyday so I have some resistance with the incline as well as the weather (usually more wind at the top of the bridge). When I walk inside at work even doing stairs I don't seem to burn as much or as well.

I look at the nutrition info before I go. If I want to choose the dairy queen small or large I remind myself that I will have to work out that much harder. I am lazy and don't want to work out any longer than I have to. This reminder usually works.

I started at 274lbs. I have lost 121lbs and have 29 left to go. I have only ever worked out using DVD's or outside activities(ie mowing, bike riding, walking). If you like jogging go for it. I don't really enjoy it but have considered adding it to my routine. I always do what makes me happy. If I don't I won't workout.…

I love adding MIO to my water. It is a liquid water flavoring that has 0 calories. I know bad caffeine. But, they even have a couple of flavors that have caffeine in them and 0 calories.
