Mark, I was 355 when I started to lose weight. I was still 330 when I found mfp. That was the best thing that could have happened to me. For me, exercise was and still is to an extent, a daunting task. But remember to do what you can when you can and things will improve. Feel free to add me.

Hi. My name is Mary and I have been logging on here since the end of May. I was up to 355 but when I started MFP I was at 330. Now I'm at 305. Of course I still have a ton of weight left to lose, and I log every day. Feel free to add me.

I gained 2 lbs this week. I did have a day where I went over but I didn't expect it to make me gain 2 lbs. I'm hoping it's water retention and the scale will show a bigger than ordinary loss next week.

I hate to say it but it very well could happen. My grandson just a couple of weeks ago got out of the hospital with the same condition. He started working out on the Monday before because he didn't want to get out of shape over the summer and start from scratch when school starts back up...football. He started complaining…
