If you're worried about your form, I would definitely have someone check it. At least then you can find out if that is the issue or it's something else. Otherwise it could be a mobility issue like a few other people said. In that case you can either work on mobility or there are ways to adapt the movement. It also could be…

Weight isn't always the best (or even a good) indication of health/ ideal body. I'm 5'7'' and 145, but most people guess my weight closer to 115. Gaining muscle will make the numbers on the scale increase, but you won't look any bigger. Instead you'll usually look smaller.

I practice hot yoga and love it. I also strength train, but I think yoga has helped with strength and toning.

Where I'm from plenty of people run shirtless- fit or not. I'd say do what your comfortable with, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

People need to play nice, and apparently these girls need to move their butts a little more if they're not sweaty and gross after their workouts. I know I am! Keep doing what your doing lady :)

A lot of people think agave syrup is less calories, which often it's not. It is suppose to have a lower glycemic index, which means it won't spike your blood sugar as much some sweeteners can.

sugar snap peas... amazing :)

Legally, personal trainers aren't allowed to give diets except the very boring, very generic one their certification provides (which does not sound like the one the gave you) unless they have an additional certification or license. Personally, what your pt gave you looks to be way under calories/nutrients and you're…

I've been using protein powder for a long time. I have trouble meeting my protein intake without it, but I do eat 5x a day and lift 5 days a week. Just keep in mind, some protein powders have a lot more carbs/sugars/crap in them then others, and some taste awful. If you do decide to get one, check the nutrition facts and…

Yes, and exercise can help with the pain, but it takes some getting used to. Typically I avoid doing abs though. For me everything else is fair game.

I've tried and loved everything everyone else has mentioned, but I definitely attribute my core strength to a headstand practice. Raising your legs slowly into a headstand then stabilizing for a minute or so then slowly lowering/repeat. Yeah, it's yoga, but one of those don't knock it till you try it things.

So I didn't read through every comment and this might have already been said, but it's tough for women at the gym. I work out on campus at my university 5 days a week in the weight room. Sometimes I'm the only girl there with 20-30 guys. There aren't many days that go by where a guy comes up at says something discouraging…

I'm interning at a pretty small gym and all the trainers there, including myself, love the TRX. A couple of them use it as their main workout not only for clients but for themselves.

Haha yeah that's feedback, and the kind most people give. I was looking more for critiques on the quality of information versus me as a person. Pretty comfortable with myself as a person :)

I have been. I should have clarified my intention. I was looking for someone to help me understand if I was answering their questions in a way they understood and was helpful to them as well as what additional information would be helpful/what information was too much, which you often don't get from replying to another…

Hey Killer0193. Great work on your weight loss journey so far! In your case, under-eating is definitely a possibility. With the amount of exercise your doing, there's also the possibility of gaining weight from muscle gain, but this would not be to the extent of 6 pounds in two weeks. I can calculate your BMR (how many…
