Wow, so many great responses! I really appreciate everybody's suggestions, thank you all so much. Here's to eating healthier and exercising more than I did the last time I was posted to Nigeria! (I probably should have been clearer -- I've worked in Abuja previously, where I had gym access, but have never been to such a…

Thank you both! If anyone else has suggestions, I'm all ears :)

Thanks, everyone -- I was feeling like I'd gone mad! I said as much to the nurse who did the assessment and she said the change was because I'd gone on holiday for three weeks, but now I see that's likely silly too. Nice to know my sense of my own body/health hasn't gone off!

Thanks, everyone! I'm tempted to try P90X3 (the at-home one). The only thing is that I don't have a pull-up bar at home, and since the rules of my lease don't allow me to hang pictures, I assume I wouldn't be able to install one of these either. Can P90X3 be successfully done without this? If so, how? Thanks so much!

Yup, I've done One-Week Shred! It was okay, I just think I've hit a plateau with a lot of Jillian's stuff. Thanks, kpodaru!

I don't get them much these days, but I used to get these really intense cheese cravings. Any kind of cheese, prepared in any way... I mean, I was having dreams about the stuff. But I never ate as much as I wanted -- and I wanted to stuff my face -- because I figured it wasn't the healthiest thing in the world. Casually…

I started at 160 with a goal of 140 and actually ended up settling in at 133. I went as low as 123, but I looked gaunt (I'm 5'8") and felt exhausted. For me, jogging and then running did the trick -- I didn't know what Couch to 5K, Couch to 10K, etc, was at the time, but that's more or less what I did on my own. I also…

The calorie goals are the same -- that's the thing. It looks like MFP is combining my 'regular' calories burned, as measured by Fitbit, with my exercise calories, and so is really underestimating my net calories.

Would a loss of "only" 25 lbs bring on significantly looser skin, though? But if it is loose skin, what should/can I do about it?

So if it isn't altitude, perhaps it's air quality and/or the outdoor running in the cold. If that's the case, how long will it take me to adapt to these circumstances? I mean, I'm sure it's different for everyone, but some estimates would be helpful.

Thanks for your thoughts, everyone! In response to your questions: 1) I moved from Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, to Oxford, England. A quick Google search says that the altitude in AA is 863 ft, and the altitude in Oxford, 30 ft -- but I have no idea if those figures are accurate or reasonable. That does seem like quite a…
