  • These look great! I came in here looking for recipes that would use up 13 really ripe bananas! I think I'll make a few batches and freeze them.
  • Of course, they're getting smaller.... which I'm okay with, b/c I would have loved a reduction. However, no amount of weight loss is going to make them perky again. I give all that credit to 5.5yrs of breastfeeding! My gift, once I hit my GW is a LIFT!!!
  • Awesome job! You look fantastic!!!
  • Hello! I'm fairly new to MFP too. It's been raining here all day as well. In just a short time, I've really enjoyed making the effort to get to the gym every day and really do feel better about the choices I've been making to eat less (and healthier) and exercise more. My 6yo son and I are going to walk our first 5K this…
  • my goto breakfast is a deli flat, topped w/a microwaved egg and a laughing cow wedge; served w/banana or half and apple and I'm good to go. The greek lowfat yogurt is also good w/a little bit of bear naked granola and an apple to dip. If you have a rice cooker or a small (1qt) crock pot, you can make a huge batch of steel…
  • nowadays, the nutrition info on the box will list two columns. One for 'as packaged' the other "1/2 cup prepared w/ 2% reduced fat milk" At least that's what I'm seeing on this pudding box. I just took out a BC cake mix and it also has "mix" and "prepared"
  • We just had this last night... (and my husband forgot to take our BOGO coupon... I guess we'll have to go again next week!!! ;-) I had a barbacoa salad w/tomato and tomatillo salsas, cheese and no dressing = 310cal. I also was able to splurge on chips and guac b/c I had a kickass workout!!!
  • Welcome! I'm also a SAHM to two boys, almost 4 and almost 7... they're absolutely the best. But I'll be turning 40 in a couple years and I too... feel it's time for the baby weight to come off. ;) I'm very new to MFP as well and already have found wonderful info here. Good luck in your fitness goals.
  • I'm not a big fan of adding cottage cheese to recipes... especially lasagna. So, I'm wondering how this one would work if I omitted it, but kept the velveeta the same as posted in the OP.
  • I'm gonna ditto WarmBlood. My husband and I have been together for 10yrs and both have gained a wee bit 'o weight. Just in the last month though, we've dedicated ourselves to get healthier for our children. He's also a type 2 diabetic, so it's even more important for him to loose the extra weight and get off some of his…
  • Do you work out w/your iPhone? I've been in love w/the Pandora app. The "Workout Plan Radio" station I've been listening to even when NOT at the gym is soooo gooood!!! I've found that just by listening to this station while at home (folding laundry, emptying the dishwasher) makes my body move so much more... while making…
  • OMG! Their new Thai chicken chopped salad w/a cup of low fat chicken noodle soup.... AWESOME pick two!!!
  • I've fallen in love w/Jimmy John's UNwiches. Lettuce wrapped goodness. I order the #13 no mayo (243 cal) Then if I'm needing a salt fix, a bag of thinny chips (2 serv) is 260. Wendy's ultimate grilled sandwich, no honey mustard, add reg. mustard; 260 cal, add either a plain baked potato for 203, (I add a laughing cow light…
  • CONGRATS!!!!! What a wonderful gift you've given yourself and all those around you! You're an awesome inspiration!!
  • I just posted the same question today. MFP tells me one thing, the machine tells me something else. I'm trusting the machine for now, till I get some sort of heart rate monitor.
  • Welcome, Paul. No... I'm not a man, but my husband and I just started using the app last month too. I'm loving it! So, he's around here somewhere.
  • I'll have to look into this as well... mind telling me which one was suggested to you?
  • These look fabu! Thanks... and my husband thanks you too!
