  • Give it up, COLD TURKEY! That's what I did. I can promise you, you will NEVER miss it!! Would you rather have the momentary taste of soda, or would you rather *get rid of* heartburn, high blood pressure, migraines, diabetes, etc. That is the real question you need to ask yourself. Think about it!

  • I found this out the HARD way. My attempts at restoring a bad familial relationship was met with the Silent Treatment. This totally is NOT the way you want to go!! Not saying this would happen to you, this is what happened to me. Making you aware... Strong medicine here, but I agree. It's the best thing you can do for…
  • Invest your time in others or yourself. Find a way to be helpful to someone. Maybe someone that is lonely or does not have many or any friends. I heard, the more we focus on our problem, the more it grows. . . and the larger it becomes. Read the Bible, start in the Psalms, and then go to Proverbs. There is comfort in the…
  • Sorry to hear this news. That sounds like MY story. I too, was a bit disappointed that I did not see a loss this past week, but I'm looking forward to next week...

I did not drink as much water as I had been drinking though, only 5 cups. Mini goals for today are: Drink more water, at least 8 cups eat all meals for today Hope everyone is having a…

  • I would adjust my pallet to accept and enjoy DARK chocolate. There are many health benefits that it offers. MILK chocolate on the other hand in my opinion is a no-no. Here is some information on dark chocolate and the benefits that come from eating 1oz per day! http://www.med.umich.edu/umim/food-pyramid/dark_chocolate.htm
  • Got some cardio exercise in as well as toning! Going to work on the second half of my water goal.. I think I can do it, I KNOW I can ;-)
  • Good morning! I too, haven't been feeling too terribly terrific these past few days. Looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in though. Hope I can see some new numbers. I didn't stick with the mini goals I set for myself; ie: more water and incorporating some exercise into my plan, but I know 90% of weight loss is what we EAT.…

My mini goals today are: 1- to increase my water intake, 2- to do my squats 3- add some form of exercise So far, so good! I'm…

  • This ^^^ ^^^^^ both posters.. is EXACTLY right! I have found this to be the case in my situation as well. It is impossible to cut out particular groups of foods, or LIMIT them drastically. Not only is it impossible, but it is not healthy. There are some on here that are insisting they know the right way. But their methods…
