Try drinking water or having hot tea. When this was an issue for me before it worked, and then I transitioned to having hot tea at bedtime and the midnight hunger stopped. My favorite is a "winter spice" chamomile.

I have had some testing, and am waiting on more. Right now we are working on acute vs chronic colitis. If chronic ( I have been sick 6 weeks so...) then Crohn's vs UC. The foods I have listed I have had issues with, so it's not a list off the internet or a recommended diet. All those things have caused pain.

I just shared that one to facebook yesterday. I'm not back in my running shoes, but it really works!

My goal is to lose 90#. It might sound a little nicer to myself to break it into "get back to running, eat better, drink more water, get more sleep, blah blah" but really, the 90# is my goal. I want to be a healthy weight, the healthy lifestyle will come with.

We have leftovers a lot, some times I make my husband "BLT" roll ups with bacon, lettuce, and turkey, with homemade mayo, I had a small avacado, onion, and shrimp salad with a homemade lime dressing one day thus week. I have in the past had random things from the fridge due to lack or creativity. A boiled egg, leftover…

If you allow it in your plan, apples can be bathed in lemon lime soda to keep from browning, and you won't get as much acidic flavor.

You can eat anything for breakfast, and what you choose depends in your time and preparedness. I usually make a 6 serving fritata on the weekend, and have that a few days. This week was mushroom, onion, potato, chicken. And then some days I male sweet potato hash browns in the waffle iron, or egg salad, or hot dogs, or…

I did whole30 with minimal prep and it went well. Make sure you read the book, plan ahead, and find a few take out (chipotle) and sit down restaurants you can go to. Make friends with allergen menus, and shop around. Good luck!

Starsandsquid that sounds awesome, and it does help. I was looking more for dinners, and for that I like variety, but we might do that for lunches. Thanks!

My husband bought me a 6 pack of hala kaliki right before I started. It is waiting for me to be ready now.

I am on day 29! I can't believe I am really going to finish this off! My husband can't believe we are going to be mostly paleo from now on, lol. I was stressing over trying to arrange my reintro to get my cak on my borthday next week, and yesterday I found a recipe for blueberry lemon cake that is totally paleo! Not…

I am going to call and ask if they can not put oil on the grill when they cook my food. And i will bring my own sauces (I have coconut aminos and coconut secret garlic sauce). If they cannot I will ask what is on the salad bar, and if they don't have eggs, I will smuggle my own in with my salad dressing. I am in my final…

I am going to call, like kirkor suggested, to see if they can cook it without the oil. And I have coconut aminos to bring with me. Triplestep, I feel the same about compliance. It's coming pretty easy, I know how to figure out if I can go to a certain restaurant, I pack my lunch, I cok breakfast and dinner almost every…

Okay, I need some advice. Next Wednesday me, my husband, my sister, and her boyfriend, are going to a concert in Cleveland. Whenever we go to this neighborhood we go to bd's Mongolian Grill. They cook EVERYTHING in soy shortening. Everything. It's a stir fry place. If I remember, their salad bar doen't have meat in it,…

I am doing great. Day 19. Yesterday I realized that apple chips (freeze dried or popped, not dehydrated) are food with our breaks. No more.

What do you mean, your most recent whole30 didn't work? Were you unable to finish, or did you follow the rules 30 days and your fibromyalgia stayed the same?
-
Hey everyone, how's the weekend going?
-
Triplestep, good job at dinner. I have been surprised lately what is satisfying. I don't crave hardly anything, and if I do get a taste for something, it passes quickly. Mostly what I crave is ethnic food, and its gone in an hour. Maybe next time bring some ghee, olive oil, or homemade dressing so you can enjoy you meal…

Today I made coconut crusted shrimp. With "pina colada" sauce. It was yum as well.

@triplestep, I am a medical assistant. I used to work for a pediatric office, but I transferred to family medicine closer to home. So far, I don't like it much, but my husband and I decided I would give it 6 full months before I thought about leaving. Today I made "bang bang" shrimp. It was SO GOOD. I made a simple hot…

I am saving those. Well, I am allowing my family to eat them, and depending on how reintro goes, we will phase them out if needed.

My ranch is mayo, a tbsp or so of spinach and herb dip mix (garlic, spinach and herbs), some onion powder, salt, and almond milk to taste. I mix everything but the almond milk in the blender when I make the mayo, and then add almond milk to the mason jar and shake. There is a fresh new thread for this week. See you all…

Today is day 11. And also my first day at a new job. But its going okay.

@triplestep I am hoping to find some food sensitivities, but, I decided before I started that I would not kill myself avoiding soy the rest of my life. This week is wrapping up nicely, I made a great salad for lunch with my "ranch" dressing, and I made Italian sausage soup for dinner. Both turned out great. I also tried…
