Did Zumba fitness class last night - for 563 calories, 55 minutes. Hitting it again tomorrow a.m. - then off to the Zumbathon.

Heh. I signed up for the Instructor certification class at the end of July - sooooo excited! I think I already have a substituted gig lined up for August. LOL Those classes fill up FAST! I want to do the Zumba toning certification too but we will see.

Most people either log it as hi impact aerobics or dance. you can "add" it to your own database. I have an HRM which tells me calories burned so I added Zumba to my activities and log the numbers from from my HRM. Usually burn between 515 and 610 for 60 minutes - depending on how energy i give it. Okay... Monday: rest…

okay... so i have to vent - (or cry) - always get so bummed when someone on MFP says they weigh xxx (my weight) and yet they fit into 5-6 because they are 5'9" or whatever. here i drop 20 pounds and fit into a 10 at the same weight they have. Love my FT4 - amazon has it for less than $100. Considered getting the FitBit for everyday use (for the rest of the day and for walk/step counts) but for workouts? FT4 is great - chest strap and all... ;)

Take one of the Jello Mousse Dark Chocolate Mint Temptations cup, slice up some strawberries, add a dollop of Cool Whip Free - and prepare for the big "O" face - OMG... i feel like i should feel guilty but for 110 calories? No guilt involved.

oh yay for arm workouts! don't have weights at work tho and i'm pretty sure my 1 lb zumba toning sticks won't be quite enough. so i guessi have to do them all tonight. yikes! thanks for this one. my bat wings need to go far far away!

Back in the day... when I was probably in my fitness "peak" (college and pre-kid) -my measurements were 36-25-36. I don't figure I will ever get my waist or my hips back to that size - kids do that to you and so have set my weight goals accordingly. I'll be thrilled to be around 38-27-38 if that is even manageable.
