There’s an issue on the app today, you should be ok if you access MFP on a web browser tho

Yes there are issues on the app today, it keeps saying offline mode. Apparently they’re looking into it. I’m good on the web portal as well

@distinctlybeautiful I would love to not be preoccupied with food. I don’t think I’ll ever have a normal relationship with it, sadly!
-
You seem to know what pace you did so are you wearing a watch that can sync with MFP? I just let my Fitbit log runs and walks which does well enough for me

Normal is as normal does. What is normal?

Ive has a great year but I’ve slipped a bit the last couple of months. I started logging again today. Glad it’s not just me that’s decided that a week before Christmas is a good time to start back!!

Heyo Jasper! Good luck with your weight loss and your transition! Remember so much of this is not the end goal but what you learn on the way.

What an amazing achievement! Just goes to show that excuses are just that - excuses. If OP can lose nearly half his body weight eating at truck stops, doing a seated job and not really exercising then anyone can. Like the man says - get your head in the game. I love this post!!

I didn't know to change my goal down when I got closer to my goal! Why do you need to adjust it? Thanks for posting that step down chart!
-
Congratulations on the birth of your babies! And well done on your loss since getting back on the wagon, it's great you have identified a sustainable goal. Good luck!

Walk at lunchtime and if you can fit it in, in the morning as well

Yep, I do beachbody workouts (Shaun T is the best!!) I run outside (not on a treadmill) and I walk. I usually swim once a week but that's just for fun and floating about more than anything. I don't enjoy the gym at all.
-
Start with walking. Jessica Smith on YouTube has masses of really good workouts and some of them are as short as five minutes long which is a great way to start!

If these numbers are correct you need to visit the doctor. There are a number of medical conditions that can cause sudden dramatic weight loss.

Have you tried asking your other half to support you and not enable your cheating? He sounds like he wants you to be happy if he wants you to eat what you want but maybe let him know you would be happy he could help you out?

You are most definitely not eating enough if you really are eating only 700-800 kcals a day. Minimum should be 1200 a day, absolutely no less unless under medical supervision. Having said that I suspect your logging my be off if you're using cups and therefore you may be eating more than you think. Weigh everything using a…

Don't look for motivation, it comes and goes. Focus on discipline and consistency and make healthy eating and exercise habits. Just do it, don't think about it, focus.

I'm assuming the pizza isn't mandatory. Don't eat it. Take your own food or take a healthy snack to tide you over until you get home.

I work from home a couple of days a week and if I don't make an effort I barely make 1500 steps (I'm a Fitbit user). I take a short 15 or 20 minute walk in the morning, a 30-60 minute walk a lunchtime and do T25 in the evening, gets me a good burn over the day! If the weather is bad and I really don't want to go outside or…

58g dry weight is a smallish serving for one person. I think 50g is considered a starter size and 75 to 100g a main course. But it kind of depends on what sort of carb to sauce ratio you like I guess.

It's crazy how much younger people look!
-
You're doing great! I know what you mean about not realising, it's a bit of a shock when you see old photos! Congratulations on your hard work, keep going!
-
Yup it's happened to me. I said "nope I'm just fat". I hope it taught that person to think before they speak!

Holland and Barrett sell it. I haven't tried it yet tho
-
This isn't normal. Also doing an hour of exercise doesn't necessarily make you exhausted - I usually feel really energised after. Can you see another doctor? Get your blood work done and see a physiotherapist/osteopath/chiropractor about your back. Good luck!

Good for you making a change Alex! But don't be down on yourself, none of us is disgusting. Yes I got overweight and I had (have!) a tendency to overeat but that's a problematic behaviour that I'm working on. It doesn't make me lazy, gross or bad. Be positive, don't beat yourself up if you slip up and don't let one…

Linda Mccartney's! I fed the "pulled pork" one to a meat eater and he was amazed. They also do a mozzarella burger, plain old vegetarian burger and spinach and mushroom. They are all really good.
