@dewnise777 you can do it!! Count the calories, use a food scale, log honestly and accurately and try and be a little active each day. Don't look at 80lbs, focus on small goals - just do 5lbs at a time or non scale victories like logging for a a full week at a time. Commit to it, you got this!

I think it depends what kind of exercise you're doing. Fitbit is great for running, cardio, walking but weights and yoga are never picked up. When I had a Fitbit flex (which is just a pedometer) I logged extra exercise in MFP but I have a Fitbit with an HR monitor now so i log the extra in Fitbit.

As long as you aren't shaking with hunger and about to pass out, I think that being hungry isn't necessarily a bad thing. Learning to listen to our bodies is good, you don't need to be full all the time. If you are genuinely hungry, snack some fruit or veggies - keep a stash sliced and ready in the fridge.

Nope, I'm forever covered in bruises (I'm clumsy and quite bruise prone!) and it's never caused water retention.

I only really get that when I've been eating too much salt. Take out and very processed savoury foods (potato chips, pizza etc) make me feel really big the next day.

Ok this might sound dumb, but maybe eat a bigger dinner? If I'm full I'm way less likely to want substantial snacks, I can stick with just a couple of bits of dark chocolate that way.

It's a vicious circle sometimes - eating junk food makes me tired, if I'm tired I don't want to work out and then I get too tired to eat properly so I eat junk food! I'm awful on Friday nights, I feel your pain! During the week though I get home and either get in my workout gear and get some exercise done or I get into some comfy clothes and immediately cook a healthy dinner. If I sit down to relax it's dangerous!

I read somewhere (sorry a bit vague) that eating fruit after a meal can cause gas and bloating. Are you eating it on an empty stomach?

Look for basmati rice dry or basmati rice cooked. Make sure it matches up with the nutritional info for whatever brand you are using.
