I did a Fit Body Bootcamp in Calgary, Canada for about a year and it was amazing. I did 6:30 am classes 5 days a week and saw incredible results complemented with MFP. Lost about 20 lbs in a few months. My instructor was Shawna Kaminski, one of the best in the biz, and was great. They are all managed by different people,…

Masters in Molecular Microbiology! About 50:50 in my lab, so females aren't that rare. . .

Interesting post. Based on this, I would be eating 800 more calories per day. Its scary, but worth a try, as 1200-1400 just doesn't feel like enough, especially when I exercise.

Hey! Not going to lie, the first few months will be frustrating after diagnosis. You will need to read every label, do your research to figure out what ingredients gluten can be hidden in, where to find gluten free products etc. But after that, you will master the art of being Gluten Free and will realize that its not so…

No regrets. I feel confident in my exercise calories now. Chest strap is the most accurate way, and no I don't find it uncomfortable at all. I have a Suuntos, so no opinion on the Polars

You will get mixed responses here, but I think either way is fine. I did the 30 DS in 30 days. Personally, I felt if I took a day here or there, I would use it as an excuse more frequently. So I chose to make it something I HAD to do every day.

Just for healthy discussion -- Large biotech companies ultimately are in business for the profit. By not having full disclosure, the degree of competition remains high. Competition is a large motivator to find a "cure" due to the large profit to be made if you are the company that does this. So while it may benefit to…

Did you just see that on the Berry by any chance?

Ripped in 30 is definitely more challenging and I hear week 3 and 4 are tough. My fitness level has improved a lot this year, so its definitely doable. Boot Camp (Group Fitness) is what really got me motivated towards overall fitness. I'm not grossly overweight, so even though I wanted to drop a few, I really wanted to get…

Just finished grad school to find out I will be making the same amount of money as I was getting as a student. *Tear* Sometimes I wish that I chose engineering and could be making a good chunk of money already.

This year I made (Canadian Thanksgiving has passed) a stuffing out of Chex cereal. I thought it would be weird, but the Non-Celiac's loved it too!

I did the 30 Day Shred in the summer and supplemented it with a 'Boot Camp' class every single day. I definitely noticed more muscle definition and increased strength. Right now I am doing the Ripped in 30 DvD (starting week 2), and I actually prefer it. A bit more variety. I personally think these DvDs are a great…

Ya, its weird when you can actually tell people what you do! Nobody ever understands my field (Microbiology). They always respond with "Oh! You work with bugs!" *Cringe*

Each day you can choose an allergy or something. One day could be a gluten free, the next a lactose free, the next peanut free or something. Just an idea.

Still bugs me that GF bread is so high in calories and often has little nutritional value. I miss regular bread

UDI's <-- Definitely the best one I have found so far.
