I have 3 facebook friends that are promoting it. They clog up my newsfeed touting how much energy they have and how its so amazing, without having looked into it my instincts say its a waste of time and money.

Cmch4, I'm doing c210k, I did c25k before. I started at c210k which is the same as c25k. I finished week 2 today so we will be con close to the same training schedule for awhile. 297 calories 31 minutes run 6 mph, walk 3 mph, incline of 2 the whole time. 2.03 miles

Paytra great job with the 10k. My goal for the end of the winter is to be able to run all of a 10k. I need to get back to being able to run an entire 5k first though. I will run/walk a 10k this weekend.

the heart rate monitor does give you your calorie burn. I have a polar fit I don't remember the model . It was around $70 and works really well

akmfp my treadmill is always lower than what my heart rate monitor said. My run/ walk today 308 calories 32 minutes 2 miles inclines from 1% to 5% walk intervals 3mph, run intervals 6 mph

It depends on if I'm doing intervals or just straight running. If I do intervals, I listen to music. If I"m running, I watch movies/ tv shows on the ipad with head phones. I desperately need the distractions otherwise I'm looking at the time every thirty seconds.

Snacks used to be my downfall too. I'd do great all day. I'd be under calorie, exercised, put my boys to bed and then eat snacks of massive proportions and ruin an entire good day at 9pm. I still snack after my boys go to bed. Its just now my snacks are much more moderate and usually healthier.
