As a teen, I thought of hunger as a good thing. It meant I was going to lose weight (pretty sad, huh?). I grew up. Now, I like to eat all the time. I find that eating smaller portions of quality food minimizes my hunger. If I feel hungry, that's ok. I can eat again. Eating moderately at night is ok, too.

Cute hair.

It could be time of the month coming up? My weight fluctuates about 4 lbs and it's very discouraging, but the end results are not the scale but the measurements. If your measurements are about the same even with the weight change, it will come back down again if you're eating as you should and exercising. Don't give up!

Is this thread for real? I thought it was a sarcastic post, but no, it's not? I will say this. I used to be a total addict, esp. since they had the Happy Hour $1 deals 2-5, but ever since I said NO MORE to this TACO HELL as well as other fast food joints, I started LOSING a bunch of weight. Sure, it tastes good,…

I mix up pad and tampon depending on the flow, where I am and what I'm doing, but I can see what you mean. It's just plain uncomfortable to be moving about constantly wearing a pad, and then you're concerned with where the flow might land during certain movements (for example, yoga), and then you're also concerned that…

I try to go twice a week. I'm not one of the fancy people on the ice either, but I'm fairly good and getting better each time I do it. If I can keep just one exercise, it would be this one. I've lost an inch from each thigh in just a month's time because of it.

Hello. Please feel free to add me. 40, 5'3" (medium-framed, apple-shaped) CW: 150 GW: 125 I'm Korean-American married mother of 3 and am currently a stay-at-home mom until my youngest is old enough to start preschool. I struggle with emotional eating and snacking - the two things that sabotage my progress! I work out about…

I can totally relate to you, and weight does not come off easily if you're already at a healthy weight. I would say just be patient and keep your focus on your goal. There will be off days where junk and sugar are consumed, but for the most part, if you eat healthy and exercise, you will see results. To me, it's all about…

Question: are you supposed to eat something before the a.m. workout or do you just start exercising? I heard that if you workout without food in the morning, your body will burn the fat as fuel. Is this true?

This is what I'm aiming to do. I guess I'd better start doing it and stop thinking about it too much.

I'm gonna try it out and see what happens. It might be a disaster or it might be awesome.

It causes me to be so pumped up that I can't sleep at a decent hour. That's why I'm thinking to do it in the morning instead. If I do it "some time during the day," then it's so hard to actually do it since I have a 15 mo old baby and two other kids. So that's why I end up doing it at night but that just screws up my…

First thing... learn to relax. Stress causes overeating. I do it. Everyone does it. Try to look outside of just diet and exercise. Focus your attention on things that you enjoy doing that are not food related. Do you like to read, garden, paint, etc. Try to find exercises that you enjoy. Do you actually enjoy walking on…

I do the same, and I'm glad I do! I can't believe how much I can actually consume while actually knowing I'm doing it. Imagine if I didn't track. That would be disaster! Good for you for being responsible for your health and choosing to know

That happened to me three times in my life. All three times, I was NOT fat. I'm apple-shaped, so I always have a belly. These days at several pounds heavier (after having 3rd baby), I tend to correct my posture and hold it in during some social situations because the last thing I need right now is someone thinking I'm…

I'm dealing with the same problem. I'm now limiting junk food in the house and getting more healthy food, such as fruit. I know that when I need a food fix, the last thing I want to do is slave away in the kitchen. That's why I grab whatever's around. I figure if I stock my kitchen with grab-n-go fruit (apples, bananas,…

That's how I feel about myself. Because I gained weight steadily over the years, the extra weight seemed to just sneak up on me. It's a real shocker when I see pictures of myself since I always remember myself as not a fat person. It's time to get real and work on getting rid of this extra weight!

That is so cute! Your son is awesome. I have that video too. One time I caught my son stretching behind me.

Congratulations! It's not easy to lose weight. Excellent job!

Ha ha ha. I love this post! I, too, tend to lose some boobage when I lose weight, but it will be only a half-cup at best and mostly all band size, but I do miss when I was a full 36C. I'm currently between 36B and C and will end up at 34B when I reach a healthy weight. But that's not all. With a slimmer waist, the boobies…

I discovered that eating a few slices of watermelon works wonders for this.

You look gorgeous in both photos. Way to go on the weight loss!
