I was in a boot for 12 weeks for a stress fracture. I did the stationary bike at the gym. It's awkward at first but was able to do it. I had to keep my cardio up as I'm a runner and didn't want to have to struggle once my boot came off. See if it works :flowerforyou:

I totally agree!! Why does getting together with people always have to revolve around meals and food! UGH makes it so difficult! I just like having the gatherings at my house so I can make healthy food....or I take healthy food so I can eat that if I need to and then eat something else when I get home if need be.

It's probably nothing but I'd just make a comment that you appreciate his "friendship" and make it clear that's all you have in mind. He could be a very good asset to you as far as advise, etc. and could turn out to be a good friend. I met two very good friends this way at my YMCA. Running partners for 4 years now! ;)

I also mistake dehydration for hunger or cravings.....often a factor ;) If I'm craving sweets...I eat a dill pickle...works every time! Who wants a cookie with a pickle? lol

my sodium is always in the RED - I also have very low BP by heredity so I cannot cut it out of my diet or I have ill effects. I need to take it off of my diary - guess I didn't know I could do that! ;)

Thanks! It's better now, Just taking me more time than I anticipated to get my cardio back up so I can actually run distance again. Frustrating but now going to give up. Up to 3 miles now. woot woot! :) I don't know how to add people lol Can't even figure out how to add my age
