I am 14 weeks. I am struggling with my exercise and eating healthy I feel like I make excuses a lot. I also lost 80 pounds for my wedding so it is paying a toll on my self esteem in general. I know I feel better when I eat healthy, so I just keep trying! :-) It's not easy!

I am also starting a new job and this is my last week with the company I have…

When I was loosing weight for my wedding some months I would loose ten pounds, some months two, some months more and less. I dieted and weight trained and did cardio consistently and it was always different. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US IS DIFFERENT. Just remember that and remember that when you try things and they don't work it…

depends on your goals bananas for example are higher in sugar then raspberries and blueberries stick to 1 banana a day at most or what id recommend is more berries and apples are a bit lower in sugar if you are really looking to lean out

You need carbs in your diet-- some more then others but carbs are not the enemy. They help with your overall energy and healthy it's calories in calories out--your body needs all sources of nutrients to operate and function best. some carbs in theory are better then others but cutting things out of your diet is not healthy…

It's very important to have complex carbs as others have stated oatmeal is a great slow digesting carb. i have it every morning :) just regular old fashioned oats. others are veggies, sweet potatoes, Ezekiel bread, brown rice, unsalted rice cakes, flat out wraps-- these are the only ones you need. Stay away from white…

Ezekiel if you are going to have bread keep it to Ezekiel or whole wheat only! :) I will have Sandwhich Thins 100% whole wheat on occasion but usually get my carbs from veggies and sweet potatoes.

I gained my weight in college too! I think so much of it is stress and preparation. Being prepared helps so much and in college it's harder to do that with the stress you have and constant change with tests.

Kit Kat -- I had that same problem. Was suggested to me to cut all fruit and breads but it was very difficult I felt hungry all the time and much more irritable with that low amount of carbs in my diet. @Mocha what does your diet look like? What has helped you stay lean?

I got down to 120 but had trouble getting past that point. When I weighed that I was cutting fruits and carbs pretty low and it was very difficult for me to maintain. Right now I think my BIGGEST goal is to achieve a balance. Looking to set realistic goals in 2012 that I can maintain. Sometimes I get nervous that when I…

@Southern Girl-- No worries sweets! I was in your SAME boat this time last year. November of 2010 I weighed 170 pounds I lost 30 pounds with Jenny Craig but weighed 200+pounds after graduating college. I maintained 120-130 from June 2011 until present but still feel like I have some weight to loose, especially after the…

stay away from protein bars!! honestly, the only forms of protein you need are whey protein shakes, lean ground meats, egg whites. unless you are home making protein bars are not the best thing for you.

To be in a calorie defect no. Keep your calories consistent. Exercise is only a small portion of the equation if your goal is weight loss.

1 scoop protein ( i prefer Beverly international--i swear by this stuff because it truly tastes amazing) they have vanilla, chocolate, and cookies and creme. 1/2 cup oats ( you could also do steel cut) but old fashioned oats mixed with protein truly keeps me full from 6 am to 11 am : ) great combo! also, you can mix in…
