Same here!

I love strength training, and I'm currently doing the Strong Curves program. Zumba is my favorite cardio exercise, but I also enjoy walking, especially on nature trails.

Current Weight: 190 lbs Overall Goal: 160 lbs (tentative) August Goal: 184 lbs My challenge is to do strength training 2-3 days a week and get an average of 10K steps daily on my Fitbit.

Hi! I'm Liz from Virginia. I am married with 2 kids (9 and a toddler who will be 2 in October). I usually work as a substitute teacher, but I should be starting a job tutoring math in less than a month! I've been a stay-at-home mom since January, when I herniated a lumbar disc. Due to depression and pain (and steroid…

Add me--anyone who wants to! I log daily, I'm usually on here multiple times a day, and I have an open diary. I try to connect with my friends on here, so I comment on some posts rather than just hitting the like button, and not all of my posts are directly related to fitness.

Anyone is welcome to add me on here and on Fitbit: https://www.fitbit.com/user/2ZH6J7

I have the Fitbit One, and I love it! I hate having anything on my wrist. In my experience it's accurate, and it's discreet--I just clip it to my bra, and no one knows it's there. Remembering to charge it is no problem, since I get an email and a notification on the phone app letting me know when the battery is low.

Thank you! I hate when people say that. Also, I love this!

My husband also does not have a problem with his weight. I do all the menu planning and food shopping, so that makes things easier, but that's probably unreasonable for most couples. I buy things that are for my husband and our daughter--he usually drinks a soda with dinner, and I buy candy and cookies that they like but…

Hi! I have 2 kids--my daughter is 8 and my son is 14 months. I've lost 87 lbs since my son was born, and I still have more to go. Feel free to add me!

I volunteer to act as a mentor. I've lost 87 lbs on MFP since October 2013, and it hasn't been easy, but I've learned a lot along the way. I recently got a Fitbit, so if you have one, you can add me on there as well. I have a more extensive bio on my profile if you want to know more about me.

I sent a request. Anyone is welcome to add me: https://www.fitbit.com/user/2ZH6J7

I'd love to join if there's still room!

Perfectionism was my downfall with every previous weight loss attempt. This time I started slowly, eating at a deficit and slowly increasing exercise. (I didn't have much of a choice, since I started right after my son was born.) The best thing I ever did was allow myself to fail without feeling like a failure. I sent a…

You can add me (this goes for everyone). I started in October 2013 when my son was born, and I've lost 87 lbs so far. I have 24 more to go until I hit my arbitrary goal--the highest weight in the "normal" weight bracket for my height. I plan to lose slowly, and I'm not sure what my final goal will be, so I'll be here for a…

I have bipolar type II, GAD and ADHD. It wasn't until I found the right combination of meds that I was able to sustain weight loss. Add me for support if you like (that goes for all of you).

I have 2 cups of espresso every morning with a cup of 2% milk--I actually have it set up as a recipe so I don't have to log them separately. I don't put any sugar or sweetener in it because I prefer it that way.

I started at close to 300 lbs. At first, I did walking videos (Leslie Sansone) and used my recumbent bike. I gradually increased resistance on the bike, and I added in weight training and outdoor walks. Best of luck!

I've lost an inch from my original adult height--I have degenerative disc disease, so I've lost some of the fluid from the discs, and my vertebrae are now closer together. It's actually really common in adults--even in your 20s or 30s (I was diagnosed at 30). Posture could also be an issue. Agreed--those scales are…
