Would you have a friend or two you could chip in on a warehouse membership with (like costco) who are also looking for healthy food and split up what you purchase. Although you need to know your prices, there is so much I get from costco that is ridiculously cheaper than at other cheaper stores. That might be an option for…

Thanks for the info - I am PI$$ed that I didn't take pics before I started. But I did take measurements. My ultimate goal is to build muscle so I am stronger when I start marathon training in April. I find it really hard to gauge how many cals I burn for weight training. Cardio is much easier to gauge, I find. I am also…

This happened to me after a huge 100+ weightloss - stopped in my last 20 lbs to my goal - however I was in my mid 30s and done having kids and was training for a half marathon at the time. I did go and see my GP (but I had seen him a few times during my weightloss). He ran some tests to ensure it wasn't anything else, but…

Canadian here. I was about to order online and thought I would check out my local health food store first (old fashion foods). To my delight they had both the pb and the pb chocolate. Grabbed a jar of both. Just put a tablespoon in my morning oatmeal. So good. I am hooked.

If there are strings being pulled to secure championships it is still not bullying - it is a problem in terms of administration and how the organization is ran and should be adressed accordingly. But certainly not by calling the kids bullies.

Really - from all the news clips I saw this morning ( Im a channel flipper at the gym :) it seems the losing team and not the winning team is in the bad light.

This And, kids know - even at a young age if they have outplayed or been outplayed. My 5 year old mentally keeps score in her head in soccor and always knows if they win or loose (unless it is super close).

Bubble wrap helicopter parenting run amuck. I bet she will call the boss after her sons first interview if he doesn't get the job.

I think she looks amazing in fact my goal would be to look like her (well except for my stretch marks lol). Actually contemplating posting that pic as Inspiration to do more core training. If anything, I think having the title of the pic read. Something like "make them your reason, not your excuse" would maybe get her less…

All the harvest vegetables are so yummy without all the added extra cals. I like roasting beets, sweet potatoes, etc with a bit of olive oil, sea salt and balsamic. Also, we made a turkey breast instead of the whole turkey this year and everyone loved it. Even those who are not watching cals.

I just can't believe the attention this is getting - I left work yesterday and was driving to the Gym (no excuses, right :) and the afternoon radio team was having a call in debate on it. Wow.

I am 5'7 and weighed 117 to 119 when I was half marathon training and just could not gain weight, no matter what I ate and I ate a ton (apparently that changed :). As I live in Canada, I went to my doc and had the thyroid tested and all my blood work done. I felt awesome though - not tired. I was strong and fast and full…

I hear ya. I will actually give my face a quick wash if I go after work so the mascara meets sweat doesn't get scary. Hubby and I go 8:00 saturdays and I am amazed of how many full make up faces there are. There is little cute about me at the gym :)

Still try to figure out the differences between how the us and canada fed governments worked. What I do know is when this type of situation happened before in Canada, it was a minority government and it forced an election. I felt that gave the taxpayers more power than just sitting there helplessly watching the politicians…

I watch the us morning shows every morning at the gym. As a cdn civil servant I just feel so bad for those of you that are just out of work and yet the politicians are still pulling a paycheque...

Wow. I feel embarrassed to say maybe 200-250/week for me, hubby and 12 and 5 year old girls.

In terms of incorporating exercise I think the key is making it a routine if you are having a tough time sticking with it. Mine is before work weekdays except for after work one day a week. And then 7:30 on weekends. I read this quote (or a variation of it) on MFP last week. Getting fit is hard; being unfit is hard - pick…

I love frozen tilapia. I always cook them in the oven in a single serve corningware dish with a 1/2 cup low sodium organic veggie broth and a dash of lemon juice. Then I add to the fish whatever spice I am in the mood for - always a bit of garlic powder and seasoning salt. Sometimes add greek spice, or lemom pepper and…

Sorry I like instant and microwave. Natures path hemp plus instant oatmeal (160) and 15 grams toasted sliced almonds(95) all microwaved. Delish

I didn't read the threads but seriously I can't believe ur sister. FYI I purchased my wedding dress the size I was and proceeded to lose 70 more pounds. It was a pretty intricate dress but I got a fantastic tailor and looked awesome on my wedding day. So, I would pay whatever to have it altered.

For me (and in my life I have weighed close to 290), it took about a year for the skin to catch up to the skinny. I do cardio the incorporates arm movement like running and the elliptical and that really helped.

I guess that's my perception. And hopefully I will lighten up. Weight wise...

I am not targeting you specifically. And it is not about sensitivity. There is just no point in making fun of a recipe...no point at all. Perhaps making suggestions. But not making fun of it. I looked at your profile just to see your age. I'm 38 so I know we both grew up in the age before Internet and social media. Maybe I…

Really??? So many people are making fun of the recipe. She feels it. Read her posts. What is the point in making fun of it.
-
I'm really curious why people are jumping all over this recipe for. Some of the comments here are just really rude and mean. She is just sharing a recipe. You like it or you don't. But there is no need to ridicule it. To the op. I want to say, I read you profile and felt just so inspired by your attitude towards what life…

Love that!
