  • I'm looking for motivation as well! Friends who will be totally honest with me when I need it. Maybe even look at my diary before saying, "good job!" because maybe I really didn't do a good job. ;-) And I will totally be honest with you too and, together, we can keep each other on track!
  • I would literally eat the whole thing in one sitting. :( My snacks have to be something that's not made in a largish quantity so I don't eat it all, or something that it would be okay if I ate it all. Right now, watermelon, strawberries, air-pop popcorn with nothing on it, cucumber sprinkled with a bit of salt and chili…
  • I also won't do any type of workout if someone else is in the house...
  • ^^ THIS!! Never thought of Zumba on YouTube! My boys have an Xbox Kinect with all sorts of games, including Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. All kinds of workouts, and it tells you how many calories burned. I need to start that again!

It's bad when he brings junk food into the house (ice cream, Little Debbies, candy bars). At those times, he will go for a bowl of ice cream and it's…
  • Seroquel did that to me too. Was on Lithium, but I got tremors so bad I had to switch. Now I'm on Seroquel, Effexor and Lamictal. They work for me as far as the bipolar is concerned, but the weight gain is something I can't live with anymore. Please feel free to add me!
  • Feel free to add me! My goal is 30 pounds. I was wondering the same thing about eating back your exercise calories. It seems the general consensus is to eat them, but it doesn't make sense to me. My husband keeps telling me the opposite. When you end your day with calories left over, that should equal weight loss, right??…
  • Feel free to add me! I just joined. I'm 43 tomorrow and have decided that, by joining MFP, I will be officially starting my birthday resolution. I've been seeing the weight come on gradually over the past few years. Blamed it on my meds...blamed it on hormones...blamed it on...well, everything but bad choices and being…
