Zumba on YouTube?

Due to paralyzing social anxiety, I stray away from group classes and gyms. I tried a yoga class not too long ago and, while I thoroughly enjoyed it and looked forward to the class everyday, I often left early or skipped sessions for fear I was being judged; doing the positions wrong; not keeping up with the class; getting in someone's way; etc.

There's an outdoor Zumba class just a few blocks from my house (ran past it then other day on my run) and everyone looked like they were having a blast but I'd like to try something online first, if possible. Anyone know of any good users/videos on YouTube?

LOVE the fact that people record their routines- I have several different length workouts saved as playlists. The only reason I do them less is because I go to classes now :).

Another MFP posted their playlist- do a search for Zumba YouTube and you should find it. I started with that one.

    Some of my fave channels/posters:

    Lobalucy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnUF6fYDKocmcyBZjhpDAUg
    MalloryHotMess: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJo-luUbp5DGr02Y2ncVpnQ
    Amber Blanch: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCraMoMfHbbbrFdRrUpaTZcw
    GRDDanceFitness: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8WqTzRJ_shUgaMb_72gqgQ
Blingitonfitness (my class! Like to do fave routines at home, though they have't posted many yet): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz-w_JOenUpSYtJzJd6wRGQ

Also check out the "also related" when you pull one up.... I've found a lot of different versions that way, too. Or, I'll search for a song/artist + Zumba (i.e. This Moment Zumba) and it will give me a bunch of options, usually, plus some related songs/routines. Create playlists, re-mix them, create new ones, don't forget a warm-up and cool-down, and have fun! Looking forward to other's faves, too...

Just type Zumba in the search box on Youtube, there are tons. But be aware that not all instructors do the exact same moves/routines to the same songs. So if you "learn" a song on the internet then are doing one in a live class, they may be a bit different. Don't let that stop you though! My instructor always introduced a new song every week so that everyone would be learning a new one and everyone would not know what they were doing, made new people feel a little more comfortable and less awkward so they could see they weren't the only one.

    ^^ THIS!!

Never thought of Zumba on YouTube! My boys have an Xbox Kinect with all sorts of games, including Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. All kinds of workouts, and it tells you how many calories burned. I need to start that again!

I also won't do any type of workout if someone else is in the house...

I just save a ton of Zumba clips to my Playlists and then put it on Shuffle. That's how I get my cardio currently. TONS of fun!

We have the Xbox Kinect but I currently just have Kinect Adventuers (which I've never tried) and Kinect Sports (which kicks my butt!). I just finished an 80-minute round of Kinect Sports and whew, I'm tired.

But I'll look into that game, thank you!!

Bump for linking to later!!! :D

Edited to add: I go to Zumba classes because I'm a social person and I like being with people and being goofy - but it also costs MONEY to go to those! Doing the Zumba on YouTube can save you money! lol
