5'1" here. I'm so broad shouldered and thick necked that anything under 140ish looks weird on me. That's my goal.
-
I don't think it's that easy. If only it were. I think the problem here is the feelings.
-
I have PCOS and I'm only on 500mg extended release. It didn't work to help me lose weight but that is because I have other issues like depression and stuff..
-
Yeah they just posted it. I hadn't seen it because I'm on my phone and whatnot but I'll definitely look at it.
-
That's the idea. He wants to see me in six weeks to review everything with him again and to see how the first set makes me feel.

I had to go to the doctor today because I'm sick. Possible strep and all that. But I talked to the doctor today and he put me on anti-depressants. So...I'm on my way.

It's just so illogical that I should be worried about telling him. It runs in my family. I just worry that what I'm feeling isn't real...if that makes any sense. I am so disappointed in myself. I hope ( even though this is terrible) that if I get treated it will help me with the ability to say no to unnecessary food.

Thank you for your replies. I think it's time for me to talk to my doc about my depression. They've asked me before but I was too ashamed to admit it, but now I can't deal with it anymore. I just fee so helpless and hopeless and like nothing will ever go right...including my weight. I definitely do the sad-eat-self…

It's so nice to know I'm not the only one. I just wish I had more willpower.

That is one piece of advice I haven't heard and a great one at that. When I'm over at my boyfriends house we have dinner with his parents. Sundays are family days and she goes all out with dessert and everything. I love your idea about one serving and then getting rid of the plate. It makes so much sense!
-
Thank you for saying that to me, it brought me to tears. And I think you hit the nail on the head and I think I'm experiencing depression as well. For the others, my calories are set to 1570. Any other advice is appreciated.

You're still not fat.
-
At the risk of being redundant, I don't think you need to lose more weight, and you're definitely not fat. If you want more definition, you have to eat MORE. Try protein shakes. It takes a lot of calories to "bulk". Work on lifting and strength exercises.

Oh good gracious...this is me to a T. I think my binges are due to restriction though.
-
From what I've read of yours, I definitely believe you! Thanks for the heads up because I don't want to do anything bad for my body, etc.

Watching it right now

Well it depends on your pace. I log quite a lot from the gym at walking 3.5 brisk pace. The treadmill should register your pace, or how fast you walk.
-
They should adjust when you enter them in the cardio option, which means enter them manually. You'll then see 'Fitbit adjustment' and get credit for it but it will not count them twice, just give or take a little if Fitbit thinks mfp over or underestimated.

I've started to eat 1580, which is 1.5 lbs a week for me loss. I cannot do 1200, I feel starved allll the time. I eat low calorie breakfast and lunch, and save about 1000 calories for my dinner bc that's where I get into trouble. It's working so far. Lost about three pounds in 2 weeks which is about right, even with my own…

What's a fitness blender?
-
I honestly never heard of this brand. Was thinking of using Visalus. Any thoughts about that?

Thanks for all the replies. I just can't seem to get the energy to exercise, it has to do with the insulin resistance where I get tired. I'm working on it and will be going to the gym 2x a week starting this Tuesday if my ophthalmologist gives me the go ahead (something is wrong with my eye) and getting back on the wagon…

Because for the caloric intake per shake you will not get as full if you eat something for the same calories? It won't keep you full as long? Obvs I know nothing about food, it's how I ended up here.
-
65 is amazing. Thanks for your input.
-
It's just until I get used to eating less. I will transition to actual foods.
-
I have trouble feeling full and have too many choices at work to binge eat on that are bad. I was thinking of doing this so I won't give in at work. That being said, I only just changed my weight loss goal this evening which allows more calories. I'm scraping at everything here to see what works for me because I'm at a…

Oh okay I though that you meant what I decided upon wasn't rational when you meant that we had a rational discussion and not a debate. My misunderstanding. I'm sorry.
-
Do you really think so? Why?
-
Thank you, I believe that is what I have decided upon. I really hope you can manage your situation I couldn't even imagine.
-
What do you mean exactly? I altered my goal to 1.5lbs lost per week, and it gave me 1530 which is more sustainable to me. What's not rational about that?
