so what you're saying is. it doesn't matter what is consumed within carbs, protein & fats. but as long as you're consistent in hitting your required calorie surplus, then you're on track for bulking lean?

the Body uses carbs, fats then protein as the source of energy, protein takes the longest to breakdown. anyway, i guess going back to the question was more to do with my split in percentage.. where I am currently consuming about 38-40% fat of my overall caloric intake.. bout 35% carbs and 25% protein! so i was wondering…

Hey Maytal, first of all good luck , I'm sure you can do it! feel free to add me, I'm also new to this. I'm on a weight gain program at the moment, but i have been on a weight lost one before, so i have a good understanding of what needs to be done.

everything is tracked. even my black coffee.

you need a plan.. and I think this site offers something which can help. start logging down all your food, analyse it after a week and see which areas you can further improve. arrange your diet plan first then focus on the gym. as the guy above mentioned, its all about getting into a good habit. and yes, no foods are bad..…

good luck :) just curious.. why have you gone from a meat eater to a vegetarian and now back to being a meat eater again, with a view of being a Vege again.

you responded perfectly. Now continue your journey to greater heights.. remember you have no one to prove to apart from yourself. to strive for greater success :)

i count my calories and fire burns in my belly to achieve my goals.... if thats a disorder then I have a serious one :D

i dont see the problem with having fast food or treating yourself to "naughty" food that you enjoy. it's part and parcel of a healthy life style. in a week my diet is healthy, pretty clean and according to my goals. But If i wanted, I will have a Big Mac on a saturday or Sunday and not feel guilty about it. Make Healthy…

Try and break your meals up to 5-6 smaller portion meals a day. the more smaller portion meals you eat in a day the higher your metabolism gets... which is always good! going long hours without food in your body does no good!

loving this posts! lots of happy Shorties on a mission to better themselves. Love it!:flowerforyou:

after every 9-10 days of training well and eating well. go to walmart with your cart and fill it with whatever you to eat, because you've earned the right to do that. just for the day, and don't feel guilty about it :)
-
every one gets that! sometimes when i get home from work.. around 8.30pm.. ill have dinner and dose off knowing that I need to train at 10pm.. when I wake up, I'm convinced I won't go. but then you think of what you want to actually achieve..... you fill yourself up with guilt and end up training ! you can try the same?…

sit down and look back at day 1 again.. it's normal for people to lose sight of their goals / motivation at times. Because you are honest to yourself and you've actually voiced it out. I have no doubt you can go on and lose more pounds, just as you wanted :) good luck!

Spot on. Starting a log of what you are eating first would be really helpful. continue eating like how you do at the moment for a week, have it all down on your diary. analyse it after.. and then you slowly replace each item from each meal to a healthy option.. this way you are able to ease yourself into a healthy regime…

fantastic. really really good job!

Very interesting post, i think most people would have gone through what you are feeling, it's quite normal. what has helped me with me overcome this are quite a few factors... 1. firstly, getting my mind in the right state. I accepted that this isn't going to be a quick fix and I'm going to be in it for the long term. I…
