I guess I'm confused by how the lightly active MFP level plays into how many calories I get? I'm set to lose 1.5 lbs a week, I'm currently 198 lbs. My calories per day, with a lightly active setting is 1,530. So is the 1530 already taking into account I'm lightly active? I'm not disregarding my Fitbit, I'm just not sure if…

My husband doing chores without prompting. Choreplay.

I've been known to get up to use the bathroom and instead of going back to bed, making a peanut butter on a spoon pit stop in the kitchen... half asleep. I log it as AM snack the next day and then ask myself "WTF?"

How do i upload a pic on here from cell phone to MFP app? Do i have to be on my pc? And why do I see so many photobucket error pics instead of the actual pic?

I like premier protein, its not meal replacement. But it's great for snack, before/ after workout, crap I'm running late breakfast. 160 cals, 30 g protein, 1 g sugar, 5 g total carbs, 3 g total fat Already liquid, not powder. Strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, banana.

You had me at cacao.

Your post could've been written about me. Enough is enough. I've been guilty of setting unrealistic expectations, letting a number on the scale make, or more often break, my motivation and spirit. Letting guilt and shame take me out every time. Not this time. My mantra is weight loss isn't linear, stay honest, make healthy…

I stopped taking the elevator at work. And in the past 20 days (since I've been back on MFP), my measuring cups and food scale have gotten more use than ever!

Me too! Welcome to the finally under 200 crew! I did a little dance in my kitchen after I weighed myself this morning.

Weekly weight in: SW on 4/2: 205 W1: 201.8 W2: 200.9 W3: 198.6 GW on Sept 1st: 180 On a side note, during the last week I've seen the scale say 203, 201, 200.6, all over the place. Thanks to MFP peeps I'm reminded weight loss is not linear. I saw one person post a line graph of their weight loss over the course of a year…

WOW! What an inspiration!

"And I said to my body. Softly. 'I want to be your friend.' It took a long breath and replied 'I've been waiting for you to say that my whole life." A quote I saw on one of the MFP posts with any image of a flower morphing into a person. Kindness to each other and ourselves!

I may need to tattoo your graph on my forehead. This time around I've been repeating to myself "weight loss is not linear". In that past, the number on the scale, from day to day, made or break my motivation.

It's never too late to start over! I need to tell myself this constantly. Feel free to friend me! I need motivation buddies!

Being dehydrated screws everything up for me, my metabolism, my weight, bloating, headaches, etc. I don't drink soda or alcohol. If i bring coffee to work, I'll end up drinking that instead of water. So I have till 9 to drink my coffee, otherwise I switch to water. I bought a water bottle that tracks ounces, lights up each…

Yes @88olds I've added midnight shame snacks to the next mornings AM snacks, I even created a 3000 calorie meal labeled "Bad Day" for those days or events where I've totally gone off the rails. I try to remember that I didn't get this heavy from one bad meal or day. I got this heavy from a PATTERN of bad decisions. MFP…

I'm on my phone app but, click on their user name, bring up profile, click on person icon, it'll prompt to send message (I don't think you have to write anything but I just put I'm also on this challenge and add my profile name) then click on the send arrow. Another way is to go under "friends" and search them using their…

Teachers lounge had a bunch of goodies (badies?) Bagels, cake, donuts, rice crispy treats, etc. I ate NONE of it. I posted it on MFP feed to stay accountable and not be tempted to eat some later.

Yes I do. I have fit bit and I'm a teacher so on workdays I often hit 10k. On the weekends, not so much lol

Thanks!

For me personally, the scale is a blessing and a curse. Weighing everyday, which I do, the scale goes up more than it goes down. My motivation goes down. But I'm keeping my eye on the prize and staying true regardless. The number one thing I've noticed that makes the scale ping up a lb or 2 from day to day... not drinking…

I quit cold turkey 5 years ago. 8 days is awesome, every day will get easier. Things I did? Cleaned, vacuumed, washed my car inside and out, new air freshener. Nothing like a clean, fresh smelling car! Put the money you spend on cigarettes away and but something awesome for yourself. As for the cravings, I used sunflower…

I wasn't exercising because I had my gallbladder out on 3/31. But now I'm back at work (teacher, on my feet all day) and am off restriction at the end of this week. I have been taking my daughter in the stroller for brisk 30 minute walks a couple times a week.

Thank you
