I think Fitbit takes the data from that time frame, and associates it with the exercise adjusts as necessary with MFP. I've not seen any issues of doubling my calories. I only log into MFP, I don't track exercise from my wrist.

Pressing the button on the FIT is so much easier than remembering to log into MFP. My suggestion: I use Runkeeper [mobile app] to track my walks/runs/cycling. I sync that to MFP [automatic process]. From there, I just mark the time and duration, and add that information into fitbit under the "exercise", so that the data is…

Pgallett: from what I'm noticing, you do not lose steps by logging an exercise. I think Fitbit takes the data from that time frame, and associates those step to that activity. i.e. During the 10 minute run, you took 1000 steps. As far as the calorie adjustment, I'm still have trouble understanding it myself. But I've not…

I unlinked Runkeeper and Fitbit, and only have my MFP stats going to Fitbit. (With runkeeper stats going to MFP). To prevent any potential "double syncing" my loop is: Runkeeper -> MFP -> Fitbit I don't not have a direct Runkeeper to Fitbit link.

Note....make sure you log everything in MFP. Everything from MFP syncs TO Fitbit. But it doesn't work in the reverse. My suggestion: I use Runkeeper to track my walks/runs/cycling. I sync that to MFP. From there, I just mark the time and duration, and add that information into fitbit under the "exercise", so that the data…

I ordered my Fitbit ChargeHR directly from Fitbit's website (they've yet to surface an any stores). I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I don't have any complaints. For the types of activities that I do, it's tracks what I need perfectly, and I like being able to see my stats right on my arm throughout the day.…

In college, my roommate (her was around 298) and I (around 195 at the time, but all fat) would buy 2 boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts and get a box free - ....within 2 hours...all three boxes would be gone...we typically each had a box and a half to ourselves...

Some of these are pretty funny. But law school isn't an excuse. I was purposefully being lazy and using my free time to relax (it's easy to tell who never went to law school or have a demanding undergrad degree - sometimes you have to balance what's important - family, fun, and a lot of beer was a bit more important than…
