  • Exactly the same today at 238.3, far better than a gain with TOM! Hope everyone has a great day!
  • 238.3 this week - a 2.9 pound loss! Feels great after a couple of weeks with less than 1 pound lost. Keep it up, ladies!
  • I do. I feel as though we have a different set of challenges! Anyone who shares this goal, please feel free to add me!
  • Lost .6 this week, weighed in at 241.2 today. Adjusting to working again has been difficult. Hope everyone has a great day!
  • Great job everyone! This week's challenge for me will be continuing to count calories while returning to work after a few months on medical leave. I have terrible shifts, which will totally mess up my routine, but at least I have a job.
  • Good morning, ladies! Weighed in at 241.8 this morning, a .9 pound loss over last week. I keep thinking if only I hadn't eaten (this or that little thing) it could have at least been a full pound. It is a new week and I'm going to push harder!
  • Good morning beautiful ladies! Weighing in at 242.7 this morning - down 2 pounds from last week. I'm happy. New challenge - keeping up the dedication and balancing an amazing new boyfriend into my life. :) Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
  • It has been an interesting week, I'm looking forward to weighing in tomorrow! I have been taking advantage of the spring weather and walking around town. I ate out on two separate days this week, which caused about 3 pounds of water retention! It is already gone, but a good reminder to watch that sodium.
  • I bought a few pair of jeans, new dress pants, and work pants because I absolutely had to. A few cute tops, too. Buy a few essentials to get you by. Definitely take advantage of clearance sales and thrift stores!
  • I was dreading TOM! I've been riding this one out pretty well. Made sure to exercise a little more tonight so I could enjoy a little wine. Goals this week: Average around 1500 calories/day Exercise 5 out of 7 days Try something new. I bought the Zumba game for Wii yesterday, can't wait to try it!
  • CW 244.7 (3.8 pounds down!) Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was rough, yet a victory for not overeating! Make it a great week! @Cenafan - you're about where I am with goals, 3 pounds in a week is great! @Frostiegirl - can't wait to get where you are! @pink_gerbera - 1 is good!
  • Count me in! Starting weight is 248.5, losing at a good pace so far and I will enjoy more accountability.
  • I love Dr. Who! In fact, I was streaming episodes on Neflix while doing free step. I've been a bit bummed since I've already been through all the seasons available instantly. Perhaps I need to watch them all again. :) I want an Adipose stress toy! http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=UTDW1010 :D
  • I keep it open to friends, to keep it honest. If I start losing too fast, my friends can see that I have been eating. For the friends that are having a rough time sticking to it, they can look at my diary and see that I am eating the foods I crave within my calorie limits and balance them out with lean proteins and fresh…
  • Congrats! I'm also looking to lose over 100, 6 down in the three weeks I've been logging on MFP, 30 in the past year. Keep up the great work!
  • Hi! I'm about where you are. I haven't broken down mini goals yet, but getting under 200 pounds by the end of the year is a great goal! I'll add you.
  • Hi! I have over 100 to lose as well. I've lost 30 in the past year, 6 in the 21 days I've been using MFP. Counting calories alone will help you lose weight. Good luck to you! Add me if you like. I'd love to be around more people who are looking to lose/have lost over 100.
  • Hi April! Sorry to hear that you are dealing with chronic pain. Coping with pain itself and then adding exercise and dieting to the mix can be stressful. I have great respect for your occupation, a good session with a good physical therapist makes a world of difference to me! As I read about the workouts that others are…
  • Dr. Who lately, sadly I've watched all of the episodes that I can stream on Netflix and must find a new show to keep me engaged while I'm doing free step. Funny that you mentioned Dexter, I've just added that to my que. Angel is in there, too. Current shows that I enjoy - The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, House,…
  • I like to keep cooked spaghetti squash on hand for such occasions. 42 calories per cup. Add to garlic browned in 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil for some great flavor.
  • It does for me. I feel more accountable.
  • Have you started all of this activity at once? I'd say cut back a bit for now, then gradually add to your routine. Kudos to you for the effort! I'm losing at a decent pace just doing a comfortable 45 minutes of free step a day.
  • I watch the sodium simply because I strongly dislike waking up to an extra puffy face in the morning. For me it doesn't matter how much water I drink, I will bloat if my sodium is high. It is difficult to find convenience foods which are low in sodium. I agree with aznladie82, avoid the inner aisles.
