Leela, you look awesome!!! WTG! and I remember from the other challenge when you were getting discouraged.... You go girl.... Yes, please anyone answer the questions.... it helped me through my times where I felt progress was limited!

I like this thread. I am game. My goals for today is to get in my exercise (abbreviated because just getting over bronchitis) Eat 5 servings of vegies and/or fruit. Drink my water for today. When setting your goals, I want to say something that I think we all lose sight of.... the scale is not our friend, the tape measure…

It takes time.... patience between the downhills, uphills and plateaus... If you really want it... it is worth the wait!!! It will come. Also look at your sodium intake and make sure your diet is well balanced.
-
artificial sweeteners, especially splenda tend to make your mid-section look bloated.... I have a friend that went through the same thing and when she quit adding splenda to her diet, she was able to get flatter again.

140.8.... I will take it!
-
not sure how I will do, not feeling real well... chest stuff from allergies... felt best to not go to the gym... eating well though.

I have heard that they dehydrate the contestants before weigh-in and almost push too hard. I think, in some ways it is inspirational and I like the fact that they try to get to the root of the issues that caused them to gain so much weight in the first place. That in itself is a lesson to us all. Usually there is a reason.…

According to a previous contestant, even the weekly weigh-ins are more like 2 weeks apart in some cases. But the finale is around 6 weeks after they go home the last time. I didnt much like the sisters, but I think Hannah got humble as she lost the weight. I do think that Olivia will keep it off... she has the obsessive…

I have a friend... if we compared our optimum weight.... it would amaze you. I currently weigh more than she does, but wear smaller clothes..... She weighs now about where I want my goal weight to be (I need to lose 6 more pounds) but wants to lose another 6 - 10 herself. BMI is a guideline but it doesnt take all variables…

I changed my routine up a bit and did my killer workout later in the evening.. must have paid off... down to 142.6!
-
I voted for Irene because I think she has a better chance of beating one of the sisters.... They drove me nuts this season. I liked Olivia sort of at first.... now she is way too chatty.... Hannah seems to have taken her guard down... like her better than I did at the beginning.... Irene I think has found a place to build…

I didn't get them much until I started going down in clothes size... now everyone is commenting, but I have gone down 3 sizes. I would prefer not to get comments except from my friends and even then I am embarrassed.... I did it for me to get healthy and keep up with my kids... Although hubby compliments are always…

canned vegies rinsed and drained cut the sodium by almost half... but you have to rinse them well.

crunchmasters multigrain crackers (found at Sam's Club) are real good too as well as animal crackers for a lite snack!
-
Many of the foods that offer healthy alternatives... like low fat make up the difference in taste with sodium. I actually will keep regular peanut butter in my house because it has about 100mg less sodium than the fat free brand as an example. Sodium for me is my worst enemy. I find it is easier to deal with the extra…
